Worked! By the way the damper in your hand looked a little bit like a handgrenade, but you solved the screw problem on a normal way...

I installed engine bars to my bike but when I came to my wife’s bike the same bolt head was broken off from new ! I didn’t want to Honda dealer to blame me while attempting to fit engine bars. They replaced the bolt under warranty I then removed the bolt fitted the engine bars happy days.

good plan. i just can't believe how poor quality that bolt was. they would have just snapped if id laid the bike down. those bungs were worse than useless. ride safe.
