This reminds me of a time not too long ago. Well, it was a couple months ago. I was at Walmart with my mom and i was playing the claw. Now, on my first try, i won this cute polar bear, and i was so excited for the prize to fall. Now, it decided to break and stay shut. I shook the claw to try and get it out, but the claw wouldnt open, so i was sad. I told my mom and she went over and tried to shake the claw. It didnt work. She got mad at the machine and started kicking it. After a few kicks the claw opened and i got my prize :3 thanks mom

the reason it failed is because of a computer glitch. you can totaly see that the last grab was VERY STRONG, stronger then the setting. there was nothing to do with the coil because the moter for the string is on the trolly. althought the claw was clamped shut was because the electro magnet was still activated, if the coil got unpluged from the troly, the magnet would not be on. thanks matt!!

if you pay close attention at 8:30 as the claw lifts and fails to grab the green one by the leg, youll notice hydraulic fluid or something leaking out of the claw and dripping down, this happens very shortly before the death of the claw so its possible that is where your problem came from lol
