I broke the Great Qing in Hoi4... (Great War Redux)

What I said at the end of the video is basically me saying that the GWR saga will be discontinued. The mod makers seem to want to make a totally historical mod which, by as you saw in this video, involves nerfing pretty much everything non historical. For example, features such as an unavoidable Ottoman surrender countdown, and an impossible to beat Xinhai Revolution could all be coming soon. TLDR, this mod will soon become unplayable/close to unplayable unless you are the Entente. I’ve already gotten comments saying what I did in the Ottoman video is now longer possible (sultan path removed, starting factories nerfed etc). Alt history paths tend to be the fun and interesting ones and if these are made impossible then there will likely be no more GWR videos for now. Hope y’all’s enjoyed watching while it lasted, and make sure to play before your favorite strategy gets nerfed! Just an fyi, it already took me 3 tries to crush the revolution before the rest of the country rebelled so be aware of inconsistencies even on the current patch

Despite Pwner’s spam about the Qing submod for GWR, it genuinely is the fix for what these crackhead GWR devs are doing. It’s an actual dynamic tree that’s fun to go through, a much fairer difficulty, and a satisfying gameplay loop. It may not be the fix to entire Great War Redux, but it makes Qing very fun to play and is worth trying out!

I am the Community Team Manager in the HoM server, and hosted the GWR on 3 different occasions, first two times were fine but the third time? We were in in perpetual trench warfare for like the entire war, it was painful and it stretched to 1919 and nearly 1920 but the German Player surrendered in December. This mod is fun and well made usually but there are too many buffs and debuffs when fighting and in MP where everyone is more competent than AI it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to actually break through, it took me turning off the AI of Italy after the player left to help end the war. But I suggest playing the Qing Submod, it allows you to avoid the Revolution and do some pretty powerful things

I’m pretty sure they changed the revolt again, because when I tried something similar to this, other revolts started popping up not within a month but within a week Also that and the fact that you have I think like a 30% debuff for attack and defense while the revolutionaries get a 30% ish boost

I just wanna say, doing force attack with one division and then adding other divisions to the General does NOT give the force attack bonus to the other divisions. Gaphically speaking, they'll have it, but in the actual combat stats they achieve, they will not. Furthermore, if you do a force attack with one General, and switch that division to another General, the division will keep the bonus for the normal 7 day duration. And the effect can stack with multiple Generals. What I've often done with this in many playthroughs is, if I have a few spare generals and a bunch of command power, I'll swap a pair of divisions to an new army, put every general on that army in turn, do a force attack with each one, then switch the divisions back to the original army. And then I can get +300% attack and +450% breakthrough bonuses, though my divisions will also suffer hefty casualties even with all of the breakthrough and the shortened duration of the battle, because the strength damage penalty of the force attacks also stacks.

yeah man i got hoi4 because this mod and i last week i was playing as ottoman sultan path watching your video as guide i notice after you defeat balkan league you get an event called raid on sublime port there are decisions to slow down the time for the event to trigger but even after you have clicked on those decisions it will always result in sultan being removed and constitutional monarchy coming in and you are stuck with playing with the same party you kicked at the start of the game the ITF authoritarian party

if your base efficiency is 0, or less, and your efficiency gain modifier is a negative number, your growth is negative, and you gain no efficiency, you must have a postive growth modifier, or a non zero efficiency base/starting value this can happen early game with no tech and hella debuffs, not usually in vanilla, but mods for sure yall have zero control and suffer the consequences

For a good Qing content I would unironically recommend Kiria in EAW, it's a cool content but I think you would enjoy civil war successors a bit more, since well they have a lot of wars to play with

For some goods, like trains or palnes or tanks you need the ressources to produce them, meaning if you dont have steel you get a -100% factory output on some things (6:43)

вообще не получилось, что за шаблон то там был. Самый крутой если использовать, то там просто не успеешь никак дивизии сделать. А те что изначально, я смог 14 сделать, но они вообще не пробивали, в итоге по всему Китаю были восстания Я смог сделать 10 дивизий, где в шаблоне 60 атаке, но там арты еще 500 штук не хватало и они не пробивали, Китай все равно вспыхнул

Same thing happens to me when I run out of resources for stuff at the bottom of my production queue. Did you wait a day for it to update after importing?
