Theres 2 VIPs running around at that point, one I took the disguise from and the other I left in the vault, the one we see there is likely the 'real' vip and not the clone

after trying the update with my friend I have to say the changes are amazing. I love the health packs, I love the vault printers. as much as I loved camping out side the vault door with octo weapon 2 I still think the printers are a really good and needed change

I guess the flip side of the Madam VIP trick is that it also carries inherent risk? You have to commit to disguising as the VIP for most of Phase 2, and aware players may know what you're up to if they know there's a Madam alive and they see the VIP anywhere inside the vault. That makes me curious to know if you've had any games where the VIP clone strat ran into any competent players who caught you before you reached the case? Either way, another awesome vid, thanks for the uploads!

Yes you can! but its easiest to do with E2. Another option is to just clone the VIP in that area 'normally' and hope they walk in naturally

I don't really know how I feel with the new phase 2 changes. On one hand it's nice since now you don't have like 30 second phase 2's, but it also feels a little too artificial slowed, if that makes sense. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but the changes to the printer almost feel like sitting in a room for your food in the microwave to finish. Regardless, it is cool to see this tech (exploit?) still works, so it could be a cool mechanic to keep somehow. Nice video!

This was something you could do since before the Printer update, so I just tried it again and it still worked, though it is patched now

Great games and really well played, esp game 1....I've been a sub to your channel from the early days and you def output the best Deceive content on YT, imho...Just one point though, and I did mention it the other day in the comments on another Deceive video of yours, and not wishing to be negative, but the audio output of your voice is low, and somewhat muffled. It's a bit annoying after a while, tbh. I don't know what you did/altered re this, but if you go back a couple of months or so (not even that far back), your voice was loud and clear and sat perfectly in the overall audio mix, and made it a pleasure to watch/listen to. Again no offence, but if I were you, I would switch back to whatever audio/recording /output system you had back then, much better. Hope you don't mind me saying.

Oh I totally understand, sadly the equipment I was using actually broke so I can't switch back 😭 But I'm (also) not liking this set up so I'm working on getting an actual quality mic. I might be able to boost it a little bit in the mean time

I'm not worried, I don't have any control over the future of Deceive. I would say I'm already doing everything I can do to support it. There's a lot of reasons the player count was low lately (long time since an update, to name one) and in the data we can see it has actually done incredibly well this last week
