For some reason, at 8:44, when he picked up the item it raised his damage by 10 instead of lowering it by 6.

Maybe the damage up for the combo wasn't displaying properly and was actually 32 and then the -6 updated it to 26? That's my theory at least

your turret/plane can only be damaged by yellow bullets so you can just fly into red bullets and enemies without any problem

In the first run, right before the final bossfight, you were literally milliseconds before taking damage and loosing the game. But the last enemy died just in time and the bullet disappeared. Insane.

Watch the ring on your planet, if its glowing/flashing that means it has your charge ability filled and you have to stop shooting to fire it, you miss out a lot due to that (some items bypass this, but generally you need to do it for fireworks, super bullets, any sort of aoe fire like the seeds…)

i almost cried when i saw him not take price reduction as the very first item of the run i'd kill for the first item in my runs of any roguelike to be price reduction due to how fast it can spiral out of control

The reality is though, if you maintain a combo you can buy pretty much whatever you want anyway. It’s an irrelevant item if you’re good at the game

The cool thing is because the game is seeded and free (for now) you can test if that choice would of actually been a better one in the long run by running that seed your self.

Those were some wild runs, I also don’t think Tyler lost his combo in either run today which is frankly absurd Okay he lost his combo of 4 at the start of the first run but after that it was full combos

It should be in keyboard config, but if you press "f" you'll autofire your shots. This should also autofire those charged shots that you had to let go of fire to shoot.

I believe your game bugged in the second run. You had some shots that are used when your planet charge, but it just kept the whole bar on the planet blinking all the time and not shooting either adamantine or fireworks. Either that or there is something I do not understand about charge shots and why it did not shoot. Also for bullets looping around the screen it's probably one of the most busted items in the game. Even with homing bullets some are still going outside the screen and they could come back with this item.

So, my theory is that if your charge shot charges slowly enough, it becomes non auto. You have to release the fire button and click again to shoot your charge shots. Which... is silly and I wish the dev just made that a toggle for autofire charge shots, but also it's kinda infuriating how long Tyler didn't notice.

@@umbaupause The idea is with a slow fire rate, you don't want to waste your active so they have it hold. However yes it would be nice to have the option for auto shots.
