For all those who want to know, 90% of Lab players don’t run Lab set up, so banishing their Big Welcome is an okay play. However, you don’t ever want to shotgun an immediate activation. The reason is because they might grab one of the chandeliers and try and set a second BW for next turn, that’s the best time to use a cosmic. Otherwise, I’d say go for cosmic on their non engine cards, such as Dbarrier or other problematic cards they can reset thanks to Lovely.

splash mage is for when your anemone has either 1) already been used, so you can make bubble reef , use it to summon from banished, make splash mage and then you have a bubble reef AND a marbled rock, OR 2) for if your anemone gets called by the graved which does happen sometimes tbh. Splash mage also allows your 1 card comboes to go into link 4s by making splash mage - anemone - revive splash mage .

Marincess will always be one of my favorite decks, just because it feels impossible to brick and bricking is the worst feeling YGO. Every time you draw 5 you know you can get to your end board. The only shame is that the end board is not always the strongest in current YGO, but it's still good enough to win duels here and there. Also if you want real shenanigans you can run Small World with Gameciel.

So I myself am an enjoyer of Marincess and i can try and explain a little about what u asked in the video. First off the usage of Splash Mage: What Splash Mage does is allow for any of the weaker Marincess monsters to become a 1 card link 4. Pascalus with no extra body, Basilalima( which I think you should probably run imo to help with unchained and lab pop effect on top of others) , mandarin are all 1 card link 4s. The combo usually goes normal summon a body make sea angel add dive activate dive then make splash mage revive one then make coral anemone then revive splash mage with coral then link 4. It’s what u would resort to if you get hand trapped to hell. As for what to do with a nib token plus an extender. Usually you’d play eria the water charmer for those situations and depending on what link 1s were used to play if sea angel or dive wasn’t used and u have Springirl plus token u special Springirl make sea angel add dive make eria use dive make marbled or triangle add wave. If there’s only token plus extender unless there’s a target for eria in the opponents grave unfortunately there’s not too much u can do lol

If you’re running Maiden and Cynet, might as well run Mandarins instead, you will get those hands like you had versus purrely. Solo Maiden rip, and Cynet kinda just dies to Ash. Also you need that Crystal heart fam it protects your Argo. When I smell Nib I run triple Thrust into a Reborn. Sounds scrubby but trust, it rebuilds the board like crazy so you don’t just lose. Went 4-1 at my last regs before I dropped off this prep to Nib If you’re weary of droll go into Anemone first off MBT then reborn MBT, make Angel so you don’t just lose off the excavate.

I wish farfa played marincess crystal heart. With battle ocean on field, link monster in emz that is summoned with crystal heart as link material becomes unaffected by card effects. That way he wouldn't have to worry if opponent threw card(s) to negate or destroy the monster. But regardless, great video from farfa. As someone who plays marincess i love this video. While marincess is not meta deck, it's pretty fun to play.

Normally Crystal Heart isn't used in the deck. And trust me it's plenty powerful to tackle a YCS or something hahaha A friend of mine went 8-0 in Nesh's/Nivskas remote tournament with it, before Kashtira's death

if i remember my marincess well - splash mage is there if you are under Maxx C, or your combo was locked - to go to splash mage, summon monster - go to anemone, summon splash mage back and go to link 4 - bubble, bcs if our combo is stopped, we propably dont have ocean, and yeah, charmer is one of our way out of nibiru token or if we get locked by iblee lock

Hey Farfa, great job at locals, Marines is my favorite deck. I can definitely tell your not very verse with deck though lol even though on paper mariness is easy to learn, there are a lot of lines of play that are kinda out of the box, especially into Lab. Obviously it's hard to tell your full plays because we didn't see the full matches, but based on your hands I can tell you could have won some of the games you lost. Against lab, going zelantis sounds good in that moment, but in reality you need to win the resource game. It's better to play little more conservative so your next turn can fully gas your opp. Also, the play with Anem and Zealan with the wave set, remember that Zealan pops card up to the number colinked in BP so summoning the anemone linked to zealantis with wave creates a sort of lock since your monsters are unaffected and zealantis can pop in BP. GGs!

I added inthese cards into my Marincess deck: Silent Sea Nettle, Salvage, Moray of Greed, and Spiritual Water Art - Aoi each of these cards came in clutch when i needed them, and allowed me to either pop off or just make my opponent not pop off as much. some generic water support cards like these are surprisingly good for Marincess, and i'm still looking for others like them. also, why no Crystal Heart in this deck? it's so useful for making your link 4s unaffected by any bullshit your opponent tries to throw at you. could also do the June Moon/Barrier Statue line just to be an absolute piece of shit (helps if you have Foolish Burial Goods and Ice Barrier)

I'm sorry but as a marincess player like half of that decklist is just awful. Why would you use 2 pots of desires? It doesn't work at all in the deck. Also no crystal heart means you can't make your argonaut unaffected by card effects. Also like someone else said splash mage is utilized to link climb. It's incredibly useful.

@Farfa hey its you're deck you can do what you want with it but crystal heart is legitimately a non negotiable for the deck. Also would recommend tenyi spirit -shthana and silent sea nettle in the side deck if you want to pivot to a Kragen control style deck. It's niche but very useful.

The deck is trash, because you've overloaded on non-marincesses and Blue Tang. I get it, Blue Tang has a cool effect, but it's not as great as it sounds. The optimal monsters in a Marincess Main Deck, are Sea Horse, Pescalus and Springirl along with 2 Sleepy Maiden. You should be using more marincess support traps if you want to win.

every other marincess trap outside of wave is awful, not worth playing and blue tang is the best 1 card starter in the deck. Marincess is a deck of 1 card combos which end on the same resource efficient board and uses non-engine to win, thats how the you play the deck effectively and its how every topping list has ever played

@@poro9084 I do. But, I think that if you're going to play an archetype, you should stay within it as much as possible and stick with the strategies of that archetype. That said, it's not all that competitive by itself, that's true. It's why I also include 2 Lappis Dragon, Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying and Clear Wing Dragon and Valiant Shark Lancer. I also have a couple of Chaos Hunters and an End of Anubis for anti-meta shenanigans and a penguin soldier as removal. As for the brickyness, Sea Horse and Pescalus take care of that easily enough with link summoning Sea Angel to get Battle Ocean. They're also useful for extending you link summoning chain and banish themselves from the grave to further empower your extra zone link monster courtesy of Battle Ocean. As for the traps, my favourites are Circulation and Bubble Ring.
