I'm looking forward to watching this the second i get home. I am currently making my first MOCs. Originally thought it would be 6x6 baseplates, but after watching a lot of your vids, I've decided to cut them into four. 1. A Naboo fight (not sure TPM or Clone Wars) 2. A commando droid attack on the shock gunship with ventress padme and palps. 3. Corridor scene between 501st and b1s and b2s. 4. A full late stage battlefield between 212th 187th regs and lots of b1s, b2s, and lots of builds, explosions, etc. This video is for sure gonna inspire me

Just got round to watching it. MOC 1 & 4 are budgeted at $200+ whilst MOC 2 & 3 is $40-60 range not including figs

That's a lot of mocs dude, love to see it! Which one was your favorite?
@charliecousens18974 ай бұрын
@@coconutbricksstudios my fav to build 4. Cos of all the chaos. My fav you have built has to be Utapau, which is the first every week series I've watched. Though made my way now through about half your MOC series
@Ambugginfly4 ай бұрын
The cost of any MOC is purely determined by the stock of Lego pieces you already own and in fact will often be zero if you use your imagination and experiment with what you have. Play well.

This video wasn't a break down of how much everyone will need to spend in order to build. It was just a fun challenge that will hopefully showcase new and different ways to use LEGO pieces! And what pieces are useful to buy for clone bases.

Broo I wish LEGO would make LEGO clone base sets!! Just imagine if LEGO made like that 20 dollars moc and sold it for 20 bucks it would be fricking niceee

Awesome work! The hangar build really gives off a world war 2 hangar vibe. You should definitely try doing world war 2 and Star Wars again I thought that was an awesome mash up video!

One thing for learning moc building I've found is combining multiple of the same set into one. It forces you to think outside the box. I did this with 3 of the lego city space mining mechs and pretty happy with what ive built (after a long time of not building with lego that is)

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your dedication to MOC building. It's seriously encouraging, and inspiring me to keep building as well.

I live on an island, its like 20 to 70 bucks just to ship it here. Makes buying parts difficult when calculating price per piece with shipping and customs fees. I have to utilize a spreadsheet to compare PAB online (we dont have any lego stores here) to bricklink. Then it takes about 6 to 8 weeks for lego to get here and 2 to 5 weeks for bricklink.

That's crazy! Sounds like you have a good system in place to maximize savings though!
