If you can do all this, you can make a belt with a belt kit - look at Tandy Leather kits (only say that because that would be my reference in the us) and see if you have something similiar close to you or can amazon it. Working with foam and leather is very similiar. It would be less work to set a rivet than making a hot glue rivet, even if that was a brilliant work around

My costuming knowledge is old, but I remember a bunch of folks saying hot glue and eva foam were the same material - so it would sand right after gluing. Issue with hot glue is it takes a minute to seal.

Cloud ist der Wahnsinn geworden, dann auch noch in so unglaublich wenig Zeit! Das nehme ich mir als Vorbild und versuche auch mal so schnell ein Cosplay zu schaffen (Sitze jetzt gerade seit... einem dreiviertel Jahr an meinem Cosplay? uff) Deine Videos machen Mut auch richtig online loszulegen ^^ Auch die Aufnahmen am Ende sind einfach auf den Punkt mega geworden, genauso wie der Videoschnitt allgemein ^^. I'm very experienced in making swords and knives but seeing you make the whole costume and the sword in only 8 days is very impressive. I could never attend a cosplay because my sword projects always take half a year or longer :D (also I'm not really interested in cosplaying any characters other than howl from howl's moving castle) The foam and fake leather give a lot of diversity to crafting. I'm not very familiar with using synthetic materials for my projects. I'm mostly using cardstock and popsicle sticks (popsicles make very strong swords). If I get into making costumes I might try using some more natural materials, like wood and real leather. Making something like the shoulder piece would be painful to carve out of wood. But I'd still rather go with wood because I hate plastic and synthetics, especially on bare skin. It made me feel icky seeing you make the forearm things out of fake leather and wearing them on bare skin. I might be crazy but I just don't want to out these synthetics on bare skin, because it's not natural like cotton or wool or leather.
