Your problem with the villager is likely due to him trying to path to another job block (they don't count trap doors as full blocks, and think they can get to something else. When they have their pathing set on another job block, they won't go with a new one until it's either broken, or completely blocked off. To solve this, go for trade cycling mod. It gives you a button to press that will refresh trades without breaking their job block. Saves a ton of time and durability on your tools.

If you didn't already have a shop sign on the building I would have suggested calling the place the Cocoa Cabana since their wares consist of chocolate related products.

My guess for why the villager was being such a pain with getting a job is that it doesn't realize it can't get past the trapdoor and pathfinds to a new job block. Only after x amount of time will it realize it can't reach that and try again with a new job block. You could try swapping out the trapdoor with a slab or something to stop it from trying to pathfind to things inside your base

Villagers in cubbies tend to get stuck on any unmanned villager blocks in the area, even if they're not looking at them.

next time you'll try to trade with villagers remove all nearby non occupied work stations, you had the unenchanting thing on the enchanting setup, villager tried to pathfind to it instead of the lectern

My only suggestion, would have been to only have the "minecart" train do a loop in the upper right corner (21:32) and not around the buildings, so that you could have had a "street" run from the tavern down to the train station (so-to-be). But looks good otherwise.

The thing is with villigares that if you dont completly block them of they will try to go to different workstation as soon as you destroy the lantern. And the trapdoor blocks them from moving but their pathfinding dosent know that. So you need to completly box them in.

8:38 - Villager isn't getting a job because you're using the pickup mod to pick up and put the lectern down, they don't see it as a block update. As other folks have pointed out tho you can use a trade cycling mod.

I've got 2 ideas for why the villagers didn't want to "play the game" First: This is Probably what's happening: the villager noticed another jobsite block and tried to pathfind to it. Second: I have no reason why this could be the problem but maybe the villager didn't like you using the easy place mod to pick up and put down the lectern but I don't no why this could be the case since it worked later Otherwise the little shop and the terraforming job looks amazing. Good job!

I play on the forge version and have the same problem with the display boards for the trainstation: As long as the train is moving away from the station, it isn't able to calculate the time and so it only displays the dot.

I don't play Minecraft very often, so I could be horribly wrong here, but I know villagers need to be able to pathfind to their jobsite blocks to actually get a job, and I'm wondering if the trapdoor in front of their forehead could be interfering with that, making it much harder than it needs to be for them to actually get a job
