Amazing work! This turned out great! I really like the idea of merging cosplay foam crafting techniques with cosmetic nerf modding.

Thank you sir! That high praise coming from you and the amazing builds you do! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Appreciate the build process! As someone who does zero prop making it was neat to see the start and finish of the whole build. Also mad flex of also getting out like 50% of an ODST costume just for this.

Speed is perfect. This is a beauuuutiful mod. So glad that video game replica blasters are still being made. Dunno if I’ve seen someone do EVA foam and blaster together for an integration! Also, any yellow construction hot glue is excellent for a base bond!

Thank you! Yea I primarily do foam armor cosplay and at some point the thought occurred to do foam integrations as I ve never been very good at chopping up beef blasters for integrations lol

Outstanding! In regards to the pace and style of the video I think it works well as you give a short demonstration of each step and your voiceover patter explains any extra steps so you don't repeat yourself visually (such as whilst making the layered risers). Your delivery is very Bob Ross (Joy of Painting) in style so much so you almost convince me that I could do this build. Thanks.

FNC sent me. Happy to show some much deserved love for such an awesome build. With all the foam you could almost hold the barrel and use it as a melee axe
@rocketcoffinstudios5 ай бұрын
Thank you much! Honestly it is almost battle axe shaped! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Harbor Freight FTW. Excellent. I used EVA and a PVC pipe to replicate a 30cal. machine gun for a WW2 retospective short film about a vet who's remains had been returned home from the Island of Saipan. Dude was a machinegunner killed in the attack so I had an actor with the EVA gun portray the returning soldier in a short scene and it worked great. You're limited by your imagination and your hot glue with the EVA.

Oh that’s awesome! You’re right, you really are just limited by imagination!

Very well done! Just some notes: One, The handles on the Alphahawk are held in by a plastic tab that can be pushed down with a screwdriver through those slots above the handle. Two, those plastic posts are called dart posts (genius naming, huh?), and are one of the ways Hasbro prevents kids from firing things other than darts out of their blasters. They don't contribute to dart retention, except in some older blasters.
@rocketcoffinstudios5 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! And I appreciate that I didn’t know that about the handle. Dart posts! I knew there was a name just couldn’t think of it lol thanks !

This is so awesome. Your vid makes me want to try it for myself. Do you have templates available? I was also hoping you’d do a blaster test in the yard with all the details added haha
@rocketcoffinstudios5 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! Sorry at the moment no templates available but it is something I’m working towards. I work pretty low tech, so I haven’t quite figured out how to scan and scale and upload templates yet, but it is something I wanna do in the future!

Was mesmerized the whole time (you know how much I relish a good build video) Can't wait for the next one and to chat again soon, my friend. All the best, Doc
