Rob, just like all your other videos, I really enjoyed the video on your new shop. You asked for suggestions and here is one from me. I would like to see you teardown an out of warranty shimano e8000 motor and show (if anything) what an owner can service on his own (such as re-packing the bearings, etc.). I have seen several different videos on Bosch and Yamaha teardowns, but I have never been able to find one on a Shimano motor. This may be a bad suggestion, but I thought I would offer it up. Thanks again for all your great videos and comments.

Hey Rob Rides Emtb! Awesome new space! Before my back operation I was a carpenter and spent 7 years building and renovating sound studios! Did your acoustic improvements succeed? Add some carpets to any large reflective surfaces and break up any parallel walls and floors and ceilings by building things in flat wedges to break up parallel surfaces to prevent standing waves! Use a variety of materials as each different substance absorbs different frequencies! Even sliding multiple layers of cardboard and carpet behind the panels your carpenter made for the ceiling will help! Hope these simple concepts help! If you want more info I could sign up on your forums? Ride ride ride!

Cheer Eric! Needs some more sound panels for sure. It’s about 70% of the way at the moment. A lot of reflective surfaces in this space!

Hey Rob, really cool Bike Workshop, look awesome! Seems to be the perfect place to do a fork tuneup comparison. Get an entry quality fork like a yari, and then test it original, with awk tune, Charger 2.1 tune, cheap tune like Chickadeehill COMO, expensive upgrades from Fast Suspension and so on. It could be a great way of combining your Workshop and riding.

Thanks to you too Rob. Fabulous space. I want to see two things in the space that’ll complement your already peerless indoor and outdoor video-style. 1. Some detail on fitting stuff like some new brakes or maybe a dropper. I don’t need to be taught how to (I already have a good idea), but I want to see how you do it, because that’s why I’m here, to see and hear your ideas on things. 2. As things start opening up in a few months, I’d like to see some of your talking heads stuff in this space. Maybe, once in a while, a sponsor might come in to see you there and take the risk of being asked on your turf a few probing questions about ‘what’s next and why?’ Your interview style encourages a bit of honesty, which is rare and some MTB Tubers just avoid this, or simply suck up to the sponsor - you’re not like that. Just my penneth 😀

Pro Workshop Tip: Get a big but somewhat silent air compressor in there. Not only is it useful for the bikes but it's great for quickly dusting off the place too, open the windows and just blow everything down with the air compressor.
