Wow, the old Crud Catcher brings back memories as the printing on them was initially done at my father’s print shop (Paperstat Print) back in the day. I was just starting to explore the wonderful world of MTB back then as a kid and learned that when visiting the shop one evening, that I had just missed Pete Tomkins and apparently his awesome MTB, so I was a bit deflated but I was given a Crud Catcher so I was thrilled about that. Awesome bike cave Doddy!

The one thing that caught my eye is the Avid Speed Dial lever. I have some black/silver 1.9's in my spare parts box, and a pair of SD2s in the grey/black colour scheme on a bike I gave to a friend, with firm warning that the levers are still mine and he's just borrowing them. Try and make a BB7 work as well with anything else...

As a diesel tech I had to have duplicates of some tools Some times you will need two 15mm wrenches. But at my dads he has 5 of them in the same drawer as 4 15mm, with 6 10mm, with 7 13mm wrenches and a single 1/2" thin wall 3/8 drive deep well socket with a crack in it. Takes for ever to find what you need. But it's cool.

(Sorry, I just met you last year when I stumbled across GMBN Tech so I'm probably the last one to learn these things about you.) Regardless, mad respect for having your [plutonic friend] partner featured in the video tearing down the old structure to help you live your dream of remaining a bike tech guru. So many ppl may have glossed over that part but you did not and it says a ton about you. Also, yeah the cave was absolutely amazing. 😁 I am most impressed that it is purpose-built from exterior structure and not just a refurbished area of the existing interior. No small feat!
