For little amount of shadows, I would recommend putting glow lichen on the tower. It’s barely noticeable and a decent light source.

That's an amazing project. I would suggest using litematica in the future for large projects to avoid messing up the lengths and positions, that should make the building process easier.

Loving the project! Do you guys have tips on how to tackle huge minecraft builds? Do you use external programs to (for example): - sketch designs? - calculate where to place blocks (especially curved edges/faces)?

We plan everything out on creative first using worldedit to make the process faster and count the blocks for us. But we even test the placement of the huge builds using our seed, so we know exactly where we want it. The building is done without using any external programs. Pretty much just have a creative world open at the same time (either I switch tabs lol or have it open on the second monitor) and follow the build from there. It is pretty complicated at curves and edges, but the challenge is what makes it fun :)

Oui oui baguette !! I'm french and I can tell you that your Eiffel tower looks amazing and similar to the real one. And also, and I've just learned that the eiffel tower will soon gain a few metres. Did you know that the eiffel tower is painted with 7 different colour variations so that the eye can only see one of them when it is close? If it were a single colour, we would see a gradient of brown depending on the height of the tower. wow, I pulled out all my English power to come up with a sentence like that

You could've built a double 16-furnace auto-smelter under a cobblestone generator, and smelt the cobblestone into stone, then smelt it again into smooth stone, that would've been easier.:D. Anyways, very awesome build!!! Loved it ❤️🇧🇩 Btw, the Trump "huge" meme was Op! 😂😂😂
