Nice video! I have 3 Yard Tractors myself, 2 MTDs and a John Deere 165 Hydro. Like you I am running a deck pulley on the transaxle and I am in the process of reworking the 11 inch transaxle pulley to fit the engine on one of the MTDs (the other MTD I am leaving stock for Mowing Grass) I used a gas pedal from a 1995 Caprice Classic Cop car. My John Deere is a completely different story. I have a 1985 Honda TRX rear end on it and I am using the matching front Axle off the TRX as well. This gives me excellent breaks on both ends. I picked up a Tecumseh 13 Horsepower engine from a guy who collects 1.25 scale cars (I traded him for a 68 Barracuda 1.25) I like the Larger Lawn Tractors because they Fit me better than the Lawn Mowers. I moved to this town 3 years ago and people here have some Opinions about me but I have made several good friends including the guy who owns the Dump. I really haven't spent much money on this little hobby, rather I traded a few hours of welding for most of these Toys. A few days ago one of the people here asked me to build a Go Kart for His boy. He got an actual Go Kart that needs a lot of work so to me it's not that big of a deal because I have most of the parts laying around including a Vintage Briggs and Stratton horizontal shaft engine off a Sears Kart from back in the 70s that I have had so long that I can't say where I got it. Though I have been doing this kind of thing for some time I do enjoy watching how others are doing theirs. I really enjoyed your video Especially the fact that you are going to hook up someone else with your creation. Thank you for the video!!

The newer craftsman mower if you just swap the smaller pulley from engine with larger pulley on transmission. They will have scary top end.

If I had a 2" pulley this would've been a blast... the 4" was disappointing... lol, thanks for watching!

I have the same mower. I plan doing something similar to it.

soooooo your first problem with this is that you need a larger pully on the front. thats what increases speed. alot. thats what i did.
