This LEGO WW1 moc was the most PAINFUL LEGO BUILD that I have ever done... It took an insane amount of time and money, but I know for a fact someone is going to say "skill issue".
I will find you :)

This ww1 lego military base was absolutely brutal. Never did I think a military lego ww1 moc of a simple lego trench battle could take so long. Essentially to dive into the lego world war 1 genre I built a new world war 1 lego army, ready for a new lego war. As daleybricks pointed out, i should probably get a bunch of zombies and then after i record each of my videos, swap the lads out for zombies and just get free content out of it. Lego zombie apolocalype videos on a lego world war 1 battle? zombie lego is hard to come by, but if i ever want to do lego history stuff like lego animation or lego stop motion kind of lego film content, it might be a good idea.
Yeah that was a tangent but back to the point.. lego world war 1 army base build at the ready. I need to watch some lego build tutorials to learn how to build lego mocs better as this took way too long. The lego great war was actually a great war in my own mind. Enjoy this trench war lego moc lego trench moc people, you didn't earn it.

Small historical mistake: This seems to be late war because the trench gun and mp 18 were used in the second half of the war. So, the germans should have had stahlhelms instead of pickelhaubes

I can just imagine how it would look having multiple of these trench network segments linked with each others, like another one to the left where the train tracks continue and the ruins are more prominent, as in to have a bigger battlefield like irl. Tho i can also imagine how many rooms of space and blocks it would take judging just this segment took a whole table by itself 😢

Looks good, the only slight nitpick would be the use of German Helmets. While the Pickelhaube was ofcourse used by the Germans in the first world War they weren't in use by the time the MP18 saw action in 1918, using the Brickarms Stahlhelm (while it is the WW2 counterparts) would atleast at a glance add to the time period accuracy

Always thought Lego was missing out on the untapped potential of history-themed sets geared for mature audiences. I would love to see official WW1 sets, as well as WW2, Vietnam War, American Civil War, American Revolution, French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars, The Alamo, Desert Storm, etc. Imagine building incredible battlefields, tanks, and aircraft carriers. The history sets don't even need to be exclusively war themed. They could do the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, A Shakespearian play performed at the Globe, Mozart conducting one of his symphonies, MLK giving his I Had a Dream Speech. The possibilities are endless.

Am i the only one that sees that on the machine gun`s the handles not on the correct position (on the back) but instead you have placed them under the machine guns as standard thats why that cylinder is on the back of the gun to place the handles.

nice build! but you should switch the British and germans around, the British never had bunkers in ww1 that I know of (apart from the ones in London) and it was unlikely that they had train tracks to supply but it wasn't impossible.
