When you finally start experiencing lag from all the maps, will you consider using a data-pack instead of all those entities? I know you got a beffy PC and all, but i just think it would be wise to start thinking about that a bit early on, before you lose you world due to entity corruption or whatever that forces you to use a backup and lose progress. I am speaking from experience as my PC can only handle so much(3GB at most) before just refusuing to load a world and making me just start a new world. Love your videos, don't burn out and take care

I think that making this world kinda realistic you should make episode in which you would make connections, small monuments, ruins, small lonely houses and other things like that to bring more lore to the world ,but in a bit smaller scale because your projects are always very big

Would live to see a, terracotta, and pottery factory / store in papyrus. That ships products to other locations. Lore wise, the red sand has lots of iron in it and is used to make pottery, and that's how they get their redish color. That and since iron is dense, it's found under the normal sand and why it is hard to find. this would also allow for a storage room for your red sand.

Should make a different wing in the map room for different regions. Then you can start tracking the progress of other towns you make, like the desert town.

Great build FWhip! If you want, placing sugarcane manually on top of the stalks will create big towering sugarcane reeds, they almost look like a more clustered bamboo. Best part is they don’t grow taller on their own, unlike bamboo! I think that would look awesome inside the monument (or even in the gardens outside) :D

I have a few name ideas if you are interested: Cascade Monument, Ruin Falls, or SkyDew Pillar. Name one and two are just names, but I was thinking lore-wise for the third name. The giant obelisk was meant to magically take water from the skies above the dried lands, and provide the bygone residents with pure water and life for a long, long time. The obelisk has since deteriorated, but it still serves its function eons later, as Sky Dew Pillar.

It’s always so cool to watch the hardcore survival world expand! Have you thought about naming the maps you use for the world map? Maybe as 1.1 (as in row 1 column 1) I thought that might be a good way to avoid getting them confused and keeping them organized. Anyway, love all the effort you put into this world and every series you make, watching your bases grow and get more lore added to them is always a joy. Thank you and please keep it up!

You don't need to place Small Dripleaf on clay. On dry land it needs clay or moss but underwater any dirt variant will work (coarse, rooted, mud - you name it)

Hey fwhip.. loving the series (as well as SOS, my word it is nice, though I am saddened people will have to leave soon as you're running out of coins fast). Just a small tip (which I picked up from Link) is to store a lot of bottles o' enchanting in your ender chest. About 12 of them is enough to fully mend an elytra. They do stack to 64, so having a spare elytra, a few stacks of bottles and then rockets to fill up the remainder of the shulker box is a pretty good setup for long distance flying. And store spare rockets as paper and gunpowder which can be crafted in your 2x2.

Probably make a auto sorting storage system under the tree or inside one of the new up-coming houses inside the city. Also make some bigger structures inside the city center like a bank, council, hospital, school and other real life things. Also it would look cool to make a massive Castle incorporated inside one of the mountains where the king can see the city and the massive tree.

It would cool if parts of the aqueducts are worn down and have water spilling out. You would get more green plants and a more distinct area of dead plants that the water doesn’t reach. I think it would tie the temple into the landscape even more. Absolutely love your build and creativity!!!! This is just a very niche idea that came to me.

Idea for the map building for the New Papyrus area : It could be inspired by the temples in The Valley of the Kings! In a secluded area of New Papyrus, tucked into the landscape in a sacred area. It can show the progress of the land!

35:52 a villager contemplates life as he gazes at ruins of a long lost civilization. Excellent use of terracotta. This feels like it would fit in with the people who lived in the trail ruins. Love how the water gardens turned out. I think you can name the maps, give them a chunk number or other code so its easier to copy them and not mix them up. Trail Ruins are easiest to find along rivers or between two waterways, if you stock up on bottle'o'enchanting and a spyglass the process becomes a lot easier.

Clearing out a Trail Ruin always feels underwhelming to me. It's a source of a variety of mildly useful little oddments, to be sure, but the variety is part of the problem if you don't have shulkers to cram the stuff into. That desert temple/garden/farm/monolith is looking great!

Hi fWhip! Just a fun touch you can add in new papyrus- if you make any more ruin type structures. In the desert, things erode differently. It’s hard to explain so I would look it up, but it basically erodes from the base first. You could get some wonky but cool looking boulders and builds. Just a suggestion- I love this build so much

take it easy with the maps, fWhip... it's nice to see the evolution of your world from time to time, but too many maps can cause your world to lag and potentially corrupt it. Takes a lot of maps to reach that point, but who knows what weird interaction might happen with Minecraft's coding.

Hay fwip I heard/seen a prosses to get the suspicious black so that you can decorate with them, step one find the block, step two dog down beside it so tjat you can take out the block that's not under it bit the one after that one, then in the open space but a cobweb or two to play it safe then break the block that's under the suspicious block and wait for the block to drop into an item, it will take a bit. I hope that this helps you with detailing builds.
