1. You don’t need the assembler to place the contraption. Just place a rail first. 2. You probably built the contraption “backward.” Note the direction of the arrow on top of the cart assembler. 3. If you shift-click the glue and glue the whole thing at once, you’ll get empty blocks that are glued and waiting to be filled. It’s more efficient to glue a contraption in several passes to get all the dimensions. Don’t worry about double or triple gluing a block. Love your videos! Recently found, slowly binging the backlog. 15:34 I know a block that would eliminate the need for gear boxes there. It's called an 'Encased Chain Drive". All you need to craft it is an Andesite Casing and 3 Iron Nuggets.

Hey! Loving the series so far!! Wanted to make one suggestion, instead of using a bunch of gearboxes, there is a block called an encased chain drive made with andesite casings and iron nuggets! They transfer power in a horizontal direction while facing another (kinda like this: ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️) and at the end can make one direction change! (⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️➡️) Hope this helps the gearbox spaghetti!! 2: now that you have a mixer and basin, make sure when you’re making an alloy, you just throw some andesite and some iron nuggets in the mixer and more an alloy per resources you put in then just handcrafting it (no need for blaze burner on with the andesite alloy which is nice) Edit: I’m not far into the vid, only 19:32 so idk if you’ve found them or not

You can use the mixer to make adestite alloy more efficiently and you can use zinc instead of iron @LegionVee

Thumbs up to the mixer. Keep using iron nuggets though for the alloy. Like the other commenter, Zinc is not renewable without additional add-ons, so it's best put toward brass

The base is looking really good so far! 😁👍🏼 You know, if you want it to be more compact, you can remove the stone blocks from your mining machine and just build the whole thing out of barrels. Then you don't need the chests at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You could use belts, crafted from dried kelp, to run multiple shafts in a line. Also, you might want to check out the captain's tv for ideas on how to run create more efficiently. Could also do a sequel to this involving nuclearcraft. Imagine an imperator with the power of Helios at his fingertips...

To answer your mining drill/coal question - yes, Furnace minecarts will use use coal in the contraption inventory to keep going. Trains will actually do the same, but make the train go faster. Trains can by default go without fuel but it uses it if it's there.

Crushing wheels are way more efficient than the mill Also you could actually build a fully automaded iron farm with tis mod You could place Blocks above the minecart aswell to prevent it getting Hit by lava

one trick ive seen people use only once is that if put a fan on the ground and a nozzle on top of the fan(just sum andesite and a wool) you can make all the mobs of a mobfarm be either atracted or expelled away from the central block

You don't need to use anything but Cogs to transfer the motion from up to down and left to right if you really wanted to. You can place a cog up in the air and another cog on it's side to transfer the motion. It's make it less expensive that way.

Ahh the carryon mod, probably the best mod in the world. No more messing around with villagers putting them in places they don't want to go. Handy for moving chests without breaking them, and best of all its stack-able via the config file. Yea carry multiple sheeps-cows-chests and increase the base speed while carrying something.

One thing I always use is a filter on the deployer for railbed, get a filter you can put cobble, cobbled deep slate, and netherrack. Let's you use your mining machine wherever you want without adjusting railbed filter

a pavment contraption will help you alot as well its the same build as a drilling machine but instead of breaking blocks it places blocks you give to it (i.e. dirt/grass blocks). most players use it to make a big flat land or use it when we build trains to form bridges across gaps

your drill looks awesome! create isn't how i personally want to play minecraft, but it's cool seeing the things you're making with it! and it's obvious how much fun you're having, which just makes the videos more enjoyable! that said, please don't use ai to make content. generative ai (art and writing ones, currently) are nothing but plagiarism machines that use so much power they threaten cities' power grids and screw with the environment. reading during timelapses is a great idea, but reading actual roman myths or history would be a lot more interesting, i think. i'm sure there must be versions of them that are in the public domain, and wanting to hear the next part of the story would add an extra reason to catch every video, for people who might be on the fence about it.

For your Dimond gear, when it's low on durability, I think with this mod, if you put it in the furnace, I think it's a 1 for 1 in diamond return. I think I saw it in someone else's video
