So... quite a few tips for you: Drills themselves can be water logged. Gearshifts are much cheaper blocks which can revers directions when provided a redstone signal. For a simple automatic log stripper: Once you have the Saw running the correct rotation (rotating the saw does nothing, only reversing the rotation changes the direction operates and spits out), place a barrel and funnel into the barrel, then on the far side, you want an item drain, then into another funnel/barrel combination. You can do the same to automate other items through the saw, but for other things you'll need to filter the saw itself, and the reason for the drain is because you'll be unable to have two funnels in the same block space. Replacing the drain with a depot, and using a brass funnel to filter the output, you can automate andesite casings. Speaking of casings, if you place a casing on a cog, large or small, it will prevent the shafts from connecting, allowing you to vastly compress your accelerations. Chain drives and Adjustable Chain Gearshifts can also help compact your acceleration. Redstone signals into ACG's which are receiving rotational power, will cause it to double the output speed into attached chain drives. You can accelerate the washing of the gravel by surrounding the four spaces around the filter with more water and fans. Faster fans don't speed the process, but more fans will.

About the mechanical saw, it chooses from a list of possible recipes at random when an item is put on it. That is why you got the andesite bars instead of the shafts the second time. If you want it to make a specific item, then you need to put it in the filter on the side of the saw.

My good sir, I have a couple suggestions if you will lend an ear. First would be chutes instead of funnels coming down from the millstones on the cobble farm and on the same note, belts under the washing station instead of letting the gravel just flow, the goal is less entities aka less lag. Second is now that you have utilized brass funnels/brass chutes, you can implement that into the workshop at the house for your semi/auto stone ,and what ever else, making coming off the depot either in front or under it. And lastly, look into both a speed controller and stressmeter as I have seen others mention below. Lots for you to learn, good luck and happy manufacturing.

Hi there ❤ I have a suggestion. If you are intending on letting the factory's just run with no reason to go in and look at all your hard work, I think it would be really cool if you made it so that you just have to walk up to the outside of the building and go in the barrel for you stuff. Like... Blargh how do I explain it 😅 like barrels built into the wall type thing. Gosh I hope that makes sense 😂 if not, keep doing what you're doing ❤

For your automated smelting woes, you'll need to use a brass funnel or chute under the depot in order to filter it, or you could set up an area that the fan pushes the products as it processes them, with an andesite funnel far enough away from the fan that once the item reaches it it's fully cooked/blasted/washed/haunted. You can also use a hopper to put logs onto the saw, like with the depot. You also could've saved on two belts in your iron farm by having the belt that feeds the nuggets into the basing continue underneath it. It'd still work as intended, but you'd save on 4 shafts and 2 belts doing it that way. If you want to see how much stress is being used in your system, make a stressometer. It's crafted from an andesite casing and a clock. When put on a system, it'll display the total SU produced by all your generators, and how much of that is being used in the system. What I'd suggest looking into making next is a trio of deployers, to then use to make precision mechanisms, which in turn can be used to make a rotation speed controller, which will allow you to control the speed and direction of your factory's shafts without the huge mess of cogs.
@Legion_Vee3 ай бұрын
I’ve been working ahead on the next video and you might have seen into the future a bit. There’s a very good chance precision mechanisms will be featured in the next episode.

I think if you build a storage system with drawers and drawer controllers, sorting your inventory will be 100 times easier and storage drawers with upgrades can hold thousands of items.

You can attach a brass filter to your mining contraption with a list filter to spit out everything that isn’t andesite that way you don’t need to manually search the chests, you could also use a portable storage interface to make a dock for the contraption for quick unloading into bulk storage or mixers for alloy

Each to his/her own, but I think If I was using that mod or not I permanently have my block interaction distance increased from the standard 5 to 10 or 20 which basically means I can place any block up to whatever distance I set it to. Only discovered how to do it a month ago, it makes building/mining so much easier. I don't consider it a cheat if I do the same with mobs fair enough that's cheating. You just have to have forge loaded no mods required. Example type /attribute playername forgeblock_reach set 20
