Love how you deigned it to look classy without looking boring or old-fashioned. Most of the gaming PC looks like something a 13 year old would like, they all look childish, but your gaming PC looks sleek and elegant.

Whoah! I actually need a gaming PC to put in my living room for sim-racing but I find big cases awful and I was looking for a solution like this. I'm really happy which my favorite developer (your clean and sharp VIM/Tmux workflow influenced my own a lot and pushed me to make the definitive switch from VS Code to VIM, I even admire your work ethic and your will to continuous improve, you're very close to the developer I want to become in 5-10 years, definitely an inspiration for me) made this video so I have a trusted guide to follow in building my own compact gaming PC since I was afraid to do my own experimentations being scared to kill the CPU or the GPU putting them on a small case which can make air circulation harder.

Water cooler is a pain not only is it hard to install but you have to change it every 2 or 3 years cause there is risk spoiling ur hardware if it leaks( Which it defenitely will no matter how good the quality is). For compact builds like this air cooling is the way to go. A giant heatsink would go a long way too.

I like the video, but I think there were 2 problems in the process of the building 1. You didn't remove storage hit sink cover. Usually there is plastic cover at the back of the storage hit sink you need to remove it if there is any. 2. I saw that the fan for the power supply stop from spinning after couple of seconds ! Why that happened? Maybe it's spinning but it doesn't seems to be on the video!!

One little advice, check the ASIC temperature on EVO 980 NVME M.2. I reckon it could be high@100 or so at this point without a mm-to-microm neighbouring passive cooler. You might wanna go for a passive cooler setup also. (paste+Copper4.9 plate)

@chei863 жыл бұрын
can you explain that? Also: shouldnt he use paste?
@TheHngman3 жыл бұрын
@@chei86 it's easier to explain with a video, and it's also a good guiding video if you ever need one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnyYYqimipqVobc (cpu cover min. 6:30). Regarding the paste, yes, you should put paste but some AIO Coolers bring a cooling pad or pre-appliied paste, I believe based on the color of the plate, that this cooler includes the paste.
