@sebastianmandrean11 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks! Some thoughts: - 7950x runs hotter than 7950x3d. ~215W under multi-threaded loads VS. ~145W. Worth keeping in mind. - Will you only load the CPU, or also a GPU? If only CPU, its absolutely fine with just an AIO, since a 240mm one removes about 250W of heat. Could run 24/7. For 100 % CPU & GPU at the same time, you probably need more than just 2x240mm radiators. - AIO is convenient, but if you want to build a really tiny PC its worth considering a custom loop. Check out the r/sffpc sub on Reddit! - There are many tiny cases that fits 2x240mm radiators, but only if you go custom loop I ran the benchmark and got: Score (rays/s): 12 001 650 CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3d 16-Core Processor CPU Frequency: 4 856,65 MHz CPU Count: 1 Physical Cores: 16 Logical Cores: 32 CPU L3 Cache Size: 96 MB RAM: 63 GB RAM Frequency: 6 000,00 MHz Operating System: Windows 11 Pro

@sebastianmandrean Жыл бұрын
Hey! Thank you, happy you liked the build In small builds like this, it's very important to make sure you have enough space to fit your stuff. Research all components, make sure they will fit. Especially the the water blocks, fans, radiators, fittings etc. Even after maybe a month of research, I still had to return some stuff and rethink my approach, because when it's all custom things don't always go as planned. Re: your GPU I would first pick the smallest/slimmest water block you can find (for a particular type of card), then buy a card from a vendor that is compatible with that block. I think for a 3080 Ti I'd consider "Alphacool ES RTX 3080/3090 Reference Copper/Carbon with Backplate". Google it and check the compatibility list on their page! Re: Intel I9 12900K, I would have to warn you a little bit. They run pretty hot under load. I think something like 240W max TDP / 100 C degrees. Some people have tried to dual-rad 12900k + 3090 in some other similarly sized case (Formd T1), and it didn't go so well. 2x240mm just wasn't enough to dissipate all that heat, at least not with a 3090. Afaik 3080 has like 350W TDP or something? Together with the 12900K it's still quite a lot. If I were you, I would look into the much cooler Ryzen CPUs with significantly lower TDP. Some of them have like 65W TDP (Ryzen 7800). My 7950x3d has 120W base TDP, peak 150-160W so significantly lower than say a 12900K. If you insist on 12900K then you will probably at least need to reduce the power target of the 3080 and cut back a bit on the TDP. Check out @optimum's video "RTX 3080 / 3090 Undervolting | 100W Less = Same Performance?" here on KZbin. Actually it's worth checking out regardless :) Rest of the stuff seems fine. Make sure that your RAM is compatible with that particular mobo. The fastest DDR5-6000 sticks are a bit picky with what motherboards they want to run on, so check the compatibility lists online. Oh and get some good PSU. 750W bare minimum but maybe 850W for some extra headroom if you can afford it lmk if you have any other questions! cheers

I am sorry, did you build this with one hand?

Haha only the shots that I filmed. I did a bunch of other work off-camera with two hands

@@AsdofTawheed Recorded a race here: Graphics @ VR Ultra High. Headset runs at 90 Hz and the rig can keep up with it, no problems (90 fps locked), which is actually really difficult at VR Ultra High. I think rtx4090 is the only GPU currently that can do it at those settings. rtx4080 would drop into the 70s/80s. Temps are stable around 55C GPU, 65C CPU Recorded through OBS with the OpenVR plugin. I set the quality to highest, but it still looks like a potato. Anyway, it's absolutely beautiful in VR I can assure you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2Soe4ugZamlrsU

I have a question, how much did this in total cost you?
@sebastianmandrean Жыл бұрын
Around $5.5K, but maybe 30 % of that is the premium for going SFF with custom CPU/GPU water cooling etc.

Correct! I wanted it to match my space grey MacBook Pro, which it does pretty well

Wish theyd quit playin around and make that block for ANY other card than the inno. Cmon boys, whos is charge down there?
@sebastianmandrean11 ай бұрын
Yeah its such a great & compact block; a shame they don't have it for other PCB designs. FYI Inno3D recently launched a new product, the "Frostbite Pro" rtx4090, which comes with the Alphacool ES server block pre-installed. Maybe that's an option worth considering!

The EK Pro block might be another option: www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/12b9ceg/stuffing_a_4090_in_louqe_ghost_s1_with_the_new/

Здорова👋🏼 целая проблема купить такой корпус в России, может посоветуешь на каких сайтах такой б/у корпус можно купить в твоей стране?
@sebastianmandrean4 ай бұрын
Hello! It was problematic to buy the case for me as well. I had to use a freight-forwarding service to ship it from Shenzhen to Germany, then from Germany to Sweden. I'm not aware of sites selling used Iqunix cases, sorry. Maybe buying a new one using a freight-forwarding service to your country is the best option?

@@OwenGalaxy 7950x3d pulls ~150W under all-core max load (stock) and the Inno3D 4090 ~425W. I.e ~575W under max load, so plenty of room with 850W.
