schmexy build! y axis graphs might be more due to the ebb36 mount. It could be flexing under the weight of that umbilical. You might want to try making a 3 pointing mounting solution and adding a little ledge that supports the ebb36 from the back in a few more places.
@mitsubishimakes2 ай бұрын
I'll have to see what I can do to fix it, the umbilical I didn't even think about!

Dude, the printer is definitely pretty. In fact, it's downright beautiful. Quick thought. I saw at the end of the video the top portion of your printer moving all over the place. Maybe try removing those foot stands on the bottom and literally mount it to the table. FYI- There is triangle shaped corner pieces you can print and use as a bolting point.
@mitsubishimakes2 ай бұрын
The wobbling during the first print is just because it was on a wobbly table. Currently the printer lives on the floor and is much more stable that way. Thanks for the kind words!

Yep. Archetype belt clips just do not work. They have a mod for monolith gantry. You don't need the monolith to use modded carriage. It much better than original. Check usermods repo

@@mitsubishimakes regarding input shaper on Y axis, I have kind of same problem, but I went with microbowden for shepra. Love that cable management hole and side placement of PCB. anyway... I think that problem might be in the too big screw holes that keep whole toolhead together. Issue is much more obvious on microbowden due to bigger lever but can guess that flat setup has the same problem. It wobbles on Y axis due to screw hole tolerances. Maybe it was supposed to clamp together securely, but that does not happen. At least in my case
@lozovoymax19412 ай бұрын
@@mitsubishimakes ok, I figured out the problem with Y axis on Archetype. There is nothing wrong with the mount holes, so want to correct my false statement. TL;DR; - check their experimental branch. They figured out that problem as well. Extruder mount designed to be "flying", it does not touch hotend mount. But extruder motor lever force is enough to make it shake, close air gap and hit right at the top of the hotend mount. Solution would be is to do on the top from the rear the same thing as they did at the bottom. Screw it to the carriage at the top from behind. When I figured that out, I've checked their experimental branch and I see changes that addressing this problem.

That fan setup is horrendous to look at in my personal opinion. Why would you use this over a cpap setup?
@mitsubishimakes2 ай бұрын
5015s are a lot cheaper than cpap, and don't require an upgraded power supply. Currently cooling isnt even this printer's bottleneck anyways. The second round of upgrades will include a 7040 and a 350w PSU though, i just need to find pink CPAP tubing 😉
