I really wish the hay bales weren't so brutal to your wheels. They're the perfect block to recreate topple towers from Wipeout, but even if you ride on top of them and they're placed right next to each other, making as smooth road as possible, they still take away your wheels, limiting their creative applications D:

Seeing the behavior of the hay bales and breaking wheels, it might be fun for your track building challenges to try a tricycle theme (i.e. the track ensures that you lose one wheel (or more!) at the start).

@Kosmonaut 8:35 In Germany we say "Seifenkisten-Rennen" so the "-kiste" was right but "Zeep" is Dutch. "Seife" means soap, "Kiste" is a box and "Rennen" in this case means race.

Watch for the dust from your wheels when you turn. I think you turned a lot harder going into the zig, the smoother you make that turn the more speed you hold throughout and that early in the run it can translate to seconds. The more dust you see the slower you get.

I think there might be a glitch where you sometimes get boosts of speed you shouldn't have. I've done a few races where the first check point is literally a straight line from the start. Would be getting 0.000 times again and again, then 1 attempt I'm suddenly 0.020 faster, while traveling a straight line. On those runs I also post a blistering time that no matter how hard I try after I can't come close to again.

If you want to make it more like a real race, could you throw in some boosters and scale everything up? So, for example, if going 40 is really fast and will send you flying, could you treat that as 250 in Zeepkist units?

So I was thinking to myself previously how would you reliably get most of the wheels to come off and after seeing this. Can you drop the cart off the spawn directly on to hay bails that are lined up at the side to just about remove the wheels. Then drop the body into an ice pipe track.

So in real life, there are several guys with full body protection jumping on the course if you take that route to slow you down? 🤣 It would have been realistic enough without these slow-down pads as they are losing enough time dodging the other path and taking a longer route... i dont like that in this game ur tires are literally made out of super glue, u can ride on walls, make u turns at 200 km/h, u never slip on tarmac etc, its a pity that there is no realistic soapbox mode or game like this
