I Built A Small Mountain Out Of Massive Gold in Hydroneer

More Hydroneer here! • When The Biggest Gold ...
I started to find gold so big it would barely fit in my bucket. There was only one thing to do at that point, build a mountain of it. The total value of this was about $2700 in raw form, but after smelting it into a necklace it was over $4500. This will fund my next grand idea for this game. I also tried a few pieces of machinery like the drill but I need more time before I can properly utilize those.. Now I want a bigger mountain. Hydroneer gameplay with my commentary as always!

You'd imagine DF would start building floors if the ground keeps eating up his stuff but knowing how glitchy this game is, I wouldn't be surprised if the ground straight up swallowed the floor.

see you would only imagine that if you have seen like 2 of his videos. but its DF so its going to take about 6 or 7 episodes before he does that. then realize later he could have done things much better and get about 100 times more money with 1/10th the effort he originally did XD

I agree. There are a few games with a similar vein and they are almost all buggy messes or have the fun flying vehicles physics. Saw another youtuber playing one and he dropped his shovel and it flew off into the distance over a hill that had invisible walls to stop the player but not objects. He didnt even have enough $$ to buy another shovel :D

The developer is working on ironing out the bugs. He's also trying to release new features, because the game is in Pre-Early Access and not yet complete. Bugs are kinda something to be expected in Pre-Early Access.

It seems that the reason he does that is because otherwise it flies off. Likely the best way to fix it would be using the placable ground, as the anvil hasn't fallen through (yet).

You can take chunks of dirt from the bottom using the bucket to get the same yield, just faster than the trough.

To not damage your drill you need 4 filters, each filter filters 25%, also you can put the driller in the bottom dirt so it’s much more valuable. Also you should weight all the gems because normally Ruby’s are much more valuable the the others (I think).
