I agree. There are a few games with a similar vein and they are almost all buggy messes or have the fun flying vehicles physics. Saw another youtuber playing one and he dropped his shovel and it flew off into the distance over a hill that had invisible walls to stop the player but not objects. He didnt even have enough $$ to buy another shovel :D

The developer is working on ironing out the bugs. He's also trying to release new features, because the game is in Pre-Early Access and not yet complete. Bugs are kinda something to be expected in Pre-Early Access.

It seems that the reason he does that is because otherwise it flies off. Likely the best way to fix it would be using the placable ground, as the anvil hasn't fallen through (yet).

You can take chunks of dirt from the bottom using the bucket to get the same yield, just faster than the trough.

To not damage your drill you need 4 filters, each filter filters 25%, also you can put the driller in the bottom dirt so it’s much more valuable. Also you should weight all the gems because normally Ruby’s are much more valuable the the others (I think).

I'm pretty sure you can use pipes to input dirt into the harvester. Probably stick a funnel at the end and make an S-tupe. Then you don't have to deal with water buckets or brushing.

Just a heads up DF, most towns seem to have a stock market counter as well, and at the stock market you can sometimes sell your jewelry that you made for 3x as much as the sale counter offers. If you are still selling at the place near the first claim there should be a market just a little ways to the right of the jeweler IIRC, check it out if you want more money.

You need to use the building blocks to keep stuff from falling through the world. building hammer will lock things from moving around with 1 hit from it (another to unlock it again).

Use a hammer once on a foundation to make it permanent ( if you use it twice then you can pick it up again) and then use the hammer on the objects that you place on the foundations to make them permanent to keep them from falling though the ground
