I love welding! Well done on the video production and the craftsmanship! Curious question for my own consideration and design... you compensated for solar position with the quadrilateral you put on top of the wooden structure. My question is could I build the “gazebo” with the solar tilt built into the wood structure and just mount the aluminum purlins? Great content!!!

Oh and I own that table saw too! Love that model!
@IntoTheWoodShop3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don’t see why you couldn’t just put the wood at an angle there’s a chance it could be a little less stable but I’d have to do the math. I think it’s mostly an aesthetic choice or a wanting to avoid welding choice.

I like your video. I am no engineer but I think you went overkill on the concrete. I am curious on the cost of each inverter. Without them, you would need access to each panel to check it. Then again, you need access to replace it if it goes bad. We need more solar pioneers as you to give the rest of us ideas. A+ Thanks!
@IntoTheWoodShop3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Overkill is the only was I build things😂. It looks like the inverters are about $155 each and for accessibility with this design all you need is a ladder.
