You should try doing a different type of Occult Lot Type, like a Werewolf Park, or a Mermaid Restaurant, or even a Vampire Bar.

Okay this is weird but when you described an alien who is obsessed with human food I couldn’t help but think of Loki, who in the comics, is actually obsessed with human food, particularly breakfast meats. So now I’m just imagining this is Loki’s house.

I remade Oasis Springs last year in a retro futuristic style but unfortunately lost a few of my builds, including two Space Needles 😭 Fortunately most of the builds were saved! I really want to try making a giant clear dome from a glass roof and making an alien house inside of it!

the hilarious thing about this build is how much mint-adjacent stuff there is in this build. whenever i try to play the not so berry challenge, i find it fun to make my founder an alien who i say just crash landed onto earth and becomes a mad scientist learning about life on this new planet and its inhabitants, so the fact you made this house for an alien and its also mint is exactly something i would do

you can press the [ ] buttons on columns to raise them without limitations!! you can also do it to lower it, but idk if that works on all of the columns

Having an alien collecting aliens is like a sim collecting fish or frogs. Probably a bit odd to some, but it's just a fun hobby to those that know. Plus maybe the alien is using them for cooking up tasty alien cuisine.

I love the idea of two alien sims living together, one completely gets humans and the other who doesn’t get it but still is fascinated. Ones room would be decorated “normally” and the other could be decorated literally however

I actually used a lot of these in my homes when I first started playing the sims 4 (I was 13 years old and kind of obsessed with modern architecture lol), like the weird windows, weird doors, weird chairs and sofas and desktops. I even seriously used the magenta alien plants once 😅

This takes me back. I once built an entire sci-fi restaurant, using the logic that a group of aliens built it to share their culture and have "a little bit of home" for those who chose to live on Sim-Earth. I went absolutely ham with mixing and matching everything sci-fi I could find, including using Journey to Batuu, and it ended up being the coolest looking building in my forever-in-progress world save. I had so much fun with it, I decided to turn the rest of immediate neighborhood into similarly alien-looking buildings.

Nicely done. This almost gave me millennium/Y2K vibes with the space + white and aqua-teal-mint going on. White, silver and metallic blue seemed to be the color-scheme thing back then. I haven't played with aliens in months, they never kidnap my sims even when I'm playing with a scientist, I have to actively contact them to get taken and then it's just no fun. I want to be taken by surprise and just have to deal with a random baby.

I've got a new challenge Idea. Roll a random number - adapted to the amount of colors that exists in the game and then build a house with the maximum amount of colors rolled before. For instance you rolled a 4, then you may only use 4 colors in the house.

Thinking of a Chef there are some really interesting Food Prints from 'Dine out' pack and there is an Alien Mailbox from 'Get to work' it was close to the Oasis springs one. I love this Tiny house and its so well done despite not being used to using Alienlike objects.

I actually love aliens in the Sims. I have an entire legacy with just aliens. I keep hoping for an alien pack to expand on them. It would be awesome if they included a "city" in Sixim. There's actually lot of lore hidden about the aliens and Sixim and it would be awesome to see more. Plus, I'd love some more space/futuristic stuff for building.

Re your alien slug dilemma, humans keep all kinds of animals as pets, so why can't an alien have an alien blue slug as a pet? Could be an animal from their home planet, bring them comfort / prevent homesickness!
