Yeah I feel you, this one in particular is hard because you start from scratch, plus, there's not much to do with vanilla props only: mods are kinda necessary to make the vault look believable. It also takes soooooo long to place the structures because Bethesda put them in a lot of different sub sections for some reason.

Amazing settlement build! I always loved making vaults, unfortunately my Xbox got bricked so I can't really build any now. One small change I would make is to edit the Upper-class rooms into being the departmental heads of the vault (Head of Security, Head of Personnel, Head of Engineering, etc.) really helps to develop a structure and story for your settlement :)

This might be a little late but power is applied automatically from the reactor. As long as any vault structure is snapped correctly to another vault structure, the structure itself has power. Those conduits along the floor of each vault structure is connecting the power from one to the next

You can send settlers to the odd areas in a pillory with no mods. Most vault 88 builds are boring , but your funny and devious commentary and details like the dwellers you hate, you smack, and especially the squatters lore section make this a nice one. I kept the mirelurk queen and deathclaw alive with a research and test observatory facility so I can do experiments on them mwuhaha.I will post my findings on the Vault Technologies server, so other overseers can use the data. PS Overseer, you are very fine looking 😊

I could never get pop into the upper rack on a NukaCola machine, only two on the lower rack. Frustrating. You must have the patience of a saint to make the world so immersive. All of that stuff! Whereas I'd throw some old copy of the Boston Bugle in there myself, the bathroom stalls are stocked with real TP! Cool build!

Maybe Bethesda took it off cuz of the upgrade... incompatibility reasons or something... I bet a PC is better but something beefy enough to run F4? What would I need?

Something you could do is replace the radiated food with processed ones you can get these at vault 81 or vault 114 or if you have the contraptions dlc you can make it

I liked idea of building a vault when this came out but settlement budget was for shere size of cave disapointing. After thorough clean up you get most back but i don't think it's enough to make amazing vault.

Anybody know how he's powering/hiding his lights? My vault 88 needs a TON of lights in almost every panel and the attachment that goes into the vault walls only extends power but so far, so the atrium is hard to light for me. I see his hallways have light, but I don't see his actual lights.

There's a decent amount of wires hidden behind the walls, but I also use a mod that increases the size of the power radius to make things easier

CBBE for the body, Commonwealth Cuts for the hair, and the mod for the punching is "Human Grab Attacks" which allows you to do finisher moves as regular attacks
