5:40 when he broke the boat the dog was still sitting, when he realized the dog didn't tp to him he probably copied his own location to edit out the part where he probably goes back (probably with commands) and unsits the dog, then he uses the copied location to go back to where he was, the dog teleporting with him as he is now standing up (when he breaks the boat it takes like 1 second for the dog to realize it was sitting, you can see him still sitting when render dies and has the "respawn" or "go back to title screen" option)

Actually insane but tbh building a giant piston flying machine for protecting was a stupid idea, as seen at 1:52 , 1 missing block and it's all broken, made even worse by the fact that the main things that make flying machines work (slime & honey blocks) can be broken with 1 hit from your bare hands (although smaller flying machines such as the missile shown at 7:35 could actually work for long-distance attacks as they're much smaller & therefore much harder to destroy, especially without elytras, simply strap a "few" TNT minecarts on one of those and whatever destination it's flying to is sure to turn into a giant crater). A big room with replenishing cobblestone walls would've probably worked better and took way less time, but ig that wouldn't be as cool as a giant piston flying machine.
