So the way deathless is coded in LoR is, that the units beeing resummoned are treated as having a -0/-X debuff applied to them, where X is that units base toughness -1. So the stinky dragons basically have a -0/-3 debuff applied to them and since buffs and debuffs carry over on transform effects, the mini-minitee dies immediately, the way Mister Root intended.

This is a bug. You're just explaining why the bug happens, which is irrelevant to it being a bug. It used to happen in PoC with 1/1 poro item and deathless interaction, and they fixed it. The fact that it happened on the burst mini-manatee spell but didn't happen on the unit that transforms to mini-manatee at round start should show you that this is clearly a bug. Both cards are worded the exact same way.

honestly you can play any champ that is "generally good" like vi or vex. but just playing more early game removal like soul harvest or quietus works too. Janna is kind of like a "consistency improver" and she's quite good at it because she can help you trade expsneive cards for cheap ones or the other way around depending on the matchup, so she's not 100% necessary

I ran something similar pretty early, but I was using the new printing SI landmark and just sitting on the final revive until Erastin and printing the oblivious islander to jam Erastin as soon as possible. This version looks maybe a little bit more stable/less all in, I'll probably give it a go it was a fun deck.

6:30 they held that the entire time cause you played no spells. (which btw confused me a lot cause you had like 2 units die with a spell to kill her in hand)
