I Built Custom Displays for LEGO Speed Champions Cars!

I built custom dioramas for the newest wave of LEGO Speed Champions cars! In this video I also test fit these new cars into my custom Brick-Built Display Racks (Ver. 2) that I originally designed in March of 2023 that can display ALL 8 Stud & 9 Stud-wide (or Gen. 2) Speed Champ cars and are modular! Tutorial included in the video!
Parts list for the Display Racks below (your choice of black or white):
This is what is needed to build 4 support legs:
2357- 2x2 corner brick, qty 24 for most cars
(qty 28 for Lamborghini Urus & Jaguar i-Pace e-Trophy / qty 36 for Ford Bronco R)
Note: If you want a full view of the car’s roof, add to the height of these legs simply by adding more corner bricks.
This is what is needed to build 1 platform:

It costs about $9.34 per car (1 platform and 4 legs) when ordering pieces from LEGO.com . You can save yourself $.84 if you already have the minifig stands.

WOW! These stackable stands are really nice and I appreciate you sharing the build process. I may take these a put a slight spin on them for my own taste which if I do I'd be happy to share with you. Thanks to you I'm also considering challenging myself to create custom display stands for each one of my Speed Champions cars as I think it would create a really stunning display!

When I built this, for saving money on the pieces I didn’t add the top part, I just got 3 more black corner pieces for each pillar and used a flat corner piece, on each of of the pillars at the top

Ok yeah I’m gonna use your stand design. My idea is two side by side tiled MILS baseplates with two rows of your stands stacked in the back and parking for 2 or 3 of the cars out front. So kinda like both of your display solutions here combined, but without the landscaping-just a neat and tidy display. Thank you, btw! I’ve been toying with ideas for months. Almost bought those 4 car garage displays on Amazon (and they do look fantastic), but I really want a brick built solution.

Try placing 4x red then 4x white alternating pattern for the F1 car - the 1/1 alternating is too stripey whereas each block of red or white should be thicker

Thanks for your interest. I don’t plan on doing a tutorial for the dioramas anytime soon. Maybe if there is a lot of interest, I’ll consider.

Thank you! I built up all of the dioramas on a 16x16 and 8x16 plate (or whatever plates I had to create a base of 24x16). I used part 35787 (2x2 triangular tile) in dark azure 2x, earth blue 2x, red 2x, white 2x to achieve the striping. The rest was light gray tiling. I used part 15068, 2x2x2/3 slopes (8x) for the wheel rests.

Nice dioramas! The BMW, Audi and F1 ones are well done! Did you use a larger baseplate for those or various flat pieces?

Thanks! I used 1 16x16 plate and 1 8x16 for most them. There were a couple that I had to piece together with some smaller plates due to not having enough.

Thanks. The leg supports could be done with transparent bricks, but unfortunately the plates and tiles for the platforms are not available in transparent colors.

I think that cars are given too small space not allowing them to be seen from all sides. White color is def my favourite because it makes car to stand out the most.

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you, but yes, you can leave out the middle length and it will still work. I’ll point this cost savings out in a future update video for these displays. Good thinking!
