Namz, enjoying watching the hulk get unleashed. I think you are right especially with the intake restrictions. What would be great is if you can do them step by step and run on the dyno after each so we can understand the effect. The problem with the revo intake is that it relies on the stock air box and scoop which is more restrictive than the intake pipe back from the airbox. A zero cost mod is to put a couple of extra holes in the airbox to draw in air. The hybrid turbo simply cannot get enough air to the compressor wheel. BTW 140-150hp drivetrain losses is right for the RS3. Maha Dyno’s consistently measure this on tuned builds. Looking forward to the next instalment!

@@Ultixa yes my brother basically because of the quattro system there is always a loss in the transfer of power from the engine to the wheels because of the drive train, however this is made up by the traction from all 4 wheels, btw haldex systems are different to torsen systems,, haldex predominantly run front wheels drive until the front wheels lose traction which triggers the rear haldex to engage, torsen differentials are different, as they run mostly 60/40 torque split i think upto 80/20 rear. My Allroad is set to 60/40 to the rear and can really notice the difference in grip and performance

These cars don't have nearly as much drivetrain loss as you'd think, definitely not 100-150hp like you are suggesting. Your wheel HP is pretty close to the crank horsepower. You said you are running your stock turbo elbow? That'd be pretty bad to run a 54mm turbo inlet on a 62mm turbo - make sure that's not the case because that is really bad and would lose you a lot of performance - not really sure why you spend all the money to build the engine and put a turbo on it only to not have any supporting mods - you need an elbow, intake, intercooler and downpipe at the minimum with maybe WMI for lower octane fuels. I assume you are tuning with Darin through DS1 - be careful with him, he has a history of blowing up engines and not taking responsibility, he is especially known for melting injectors, plugs and turning off or heavily numbing knock control - don't fall for this and I hope you know better - numbing knock control especially in pump gas is not a good idea.

Dynojet gives engine power and wheel horse power and is one of the most reliable dyno in the market hence why we bought it the best tuning shops in the world have them, whilst I agree the conversion is far the clutch power reading is accurate and in line with what a built RS3 with hybrid turbo should have there’s no argument about that This is a project car bought from Copart and happens to come with upgraded parts as mentioned in the video, my concern with this one was to get get it started first of all as it was a non runner then go from there, so if the car has parts on it that are restrictive those will be addressed accordingly as this was only just the first dyno run, it’s far from completion. I presume you didn’t watch half of the video because the mods you mentioned the car already has it. You got to remember I’m filming this for KZbin and I’m trying to document every stage rather than show the end end result which will just delay the video for a further few weeks while viewers are eagerly waiting for uploads We don’t use Darin for tuning we do it in house

@@NamzBoost I did watch the whole video infact, whilst you have an intake and exhaust they are both 3 inch just for the slight upgrade for stage 1 builds, your elbow you said was stock which would be pretty bad, your intercooler you said is very small - so yeah you technically "have" the upgrades but they're not very good or adequate for your goals. Since you have a theme of HPerformance already they have a 4 inch downpipe, 5 inch intake with elbow and a big 1000 (sport) or 1270 (race) cored Garrett intercoolers.
