Finally Boogie, got a new video from you,not gonna lie just I was checking your other manga hauls , the manga I like in your collection is "MONSTER",just like you said it's a slow burn,but once you get on to the pace of the story,there is no going back.It's freaking amazing. The manga I am gonna recommend is old .But I think you will love it while reading , the manga "Banana Fish". It's a crime drama that will keep you on the edge of the seat from start to finish which contains a total of 19 volumes . The story takes you on a thrilling journey through the dark underbelly of society, with intense action, complex characters, and thought-provoking themes. Love seeing your collection! I’m in the same boat where I really don’t need to collect everything I like physically anymore. I really only want to spend my money on series that I’m in love with. Also- a quick recommendation. A music series that I think you would love is Kono Oto Tomare (or Stop this Sound). It is amazing and really highly acclaimed even though it isn’t talked about much in the KZbin space.

Loved the video Boogie, manga collection videos are always hype! :) Just as an FYI: The word "Frieren" is German and is pronounced as "Free-ren". It means to freeze or to be cold, which does kind of fit with Frieren's personality towards other people especially at the beginning of the manga. The one thing about reading the series in German is that you have all these random German words as the character's names and it's actually kind of weird. Like for example the priest from her original party is named "Heiter", which literally means "cheerful". I would assume it is not so distracting any other language, since you don't have the immediate association. Other then that it is a fantastic series, that I would recommend for anyone looking for something from the fantasy genre :D

I love seeing Yona of the Dawn in your collection, as it is one of the best contemporary shoujo series out but to mostly write it off as a romance series is quite odd. Yona is an epic fantasy/adventure series that has a romance between the two main characters, Yona and Hak, but it is an adventure/fantasy series first and foremost. If we’re simply calling something like Yona of the Dawn a romance series then Inuyasha might as well go on your romance shelf too as the romances between Inuyasha and Kagome and Miroku and Sango are featured quite prominently! Also, Maison Ikoku is a seinen series, not a shoujo or josei title! Furthermore, if you think that the shoujo/josei demographic is only filled with romance manga, you couldn’t be more wrong!

One piece is my personal favorite nbut shaman king was the first manga I ever collected and air gear is just awesome. I recommend a certain magical index and a certain scientific railgun! QOTD: my favourite mangas from your collection are definitely one piece and 20th century boys! Also I really loved the anime for dorohedoro and feel like I'll absolutely love the manga however I haven't gotten to buying it yet (budgeting!!) If I could add something though it would be Pluto and also blue flag - it's a nice romance/slice of life that deals with interesting topics and strays from the usual cliche so called "love triangle"... it's definitely not perfect but I really liked it - you should definitely give it a shot:)

Days on Fes is SO underrated. I absolutely love the series. If I had to add one series to your collection, it would definitely be Bloody Monday. It is a bit expensive, but I bought it all and LOVED IT. If you liked Monster or Death Note, Bloody Monday is for you. I’d argue that Bloody Monday is actually better than Death Note, so yeah, there’s a hot take. Loved the video! Keep it up!

Noragami is such a great manga. It is one of my favorites along with toilet bound hanako kun. Noragami is currently still releasing in Japan, but it is ending soon. They are releasing chapters for the final volume right now.

QOTD: My favourite series in your collection has to be YuYu Hakusho! I recently watched the dub anime for the first time and absolutely fell in love with it and want to collect the manga asap. My recommendation is Banana Fish, an absolutely amazing shoujo series with an equally stellar anime. It's one hell of a ride, with drama, mystery, action and great characters with a lot of depth. It is one of my favourite series that showed me how diverse the shoujo demographic can be. I would also like to add Requiem of the Rose King, I am aware that you picked it up on one of your latest streams, but I wanted to take the opportunity to encourage you to check out the whole series. In the wise words of Colleen: Aya Kanno could write Richard the III, but Shakespeare couldn’t write Rose King. Hope that is enough to peak your interest :)

I love kaiju no 8 so much, I recently bought up to volume 6 which at the time of writing this is just one volume behind the english physical releases and I just love it so so much one of my favorite new gen manga I couldn't stop binge reading this series!! Can't wait to get my hands on the next volumes. From my point of view it is not overhyped or anything I only heard about it from a collector friend of mine and I instantly fell in love with vol 1. I can't lie I was a bit sad to hear you aren't thinking about collecting it currently, but I hope you come to love the series as much as I do and when you are in a more comfortable financial place try to pick it up for your own, otherwise perfect, collection ;) Keep up the great content! edit: also the spines are so cool lined up!!

QOTD: You said favorite manga but my personal favorite in your collection is the Bunny Girl Senpai series. It's one that just hit so hard for me and I always have the next volumes on pre-order and read them on release. Speaking of I'm about to start a re-read of it before the next volume comes out later this month 😅. For an actual manga series though, Laid Back Camp would be my favorite, I'm glad you talked about it in your videos and made me discover it caus it turned into my go to when I need something to just chill. QOTD: Loved the video! I´ve had Tokyo Ghoul sitting on the shelf without reading it in forever, so I started watching the anime to get into the series faster and dang that was a good choice! Right now I´m reading Wotakoi and it's so fun! I would recommend you "Sweat and Soap" for something simular, it's also an office rom-com! QOTD: First of all, love your shelf display. I can relate to when you said that you will be cutting back this year, I had to as well, and not just with manga, but with western comics as well. Also, I didn't know you like gunpla, I go back and forth between building those and lego sets. As far as a series that i would like to see added to your growing collection, there's a couple. I don't know how you feel about sports manga, but Blue Lock and Haikyu are 2 that I think you would enjoy. Two of my all-time favorites that I would also recommend would be Assassination Classroom and Bakuman.

Heya Boogie! If I could add anything to your collection it would be either GA:Geijutsuka Art Design Class, a very sweet slice of life about art students in highschool just doing their thing and a side focus on an art club of older students. Another would be Genshiken! The first part is very deeply otaku culture, especially olderschool otaku culture via a club in a college. The second series of it is a big tone shift that not everyone likes because it focuses on female side of fandom more than male like the first, but I absolutely adored it and recommend it to everyone at least once.

QOTD: I'd personally add Kingdom to your manga collection! I think if you enjoy Vinland Saga you will find Kingdom interesting as well. Kingdom provides a fictionalized account of the Warring States period through the experiences of the war orphan Xin as he fights to become the greatest general under the heavens, and in doing so, unifying China for the first time in 500 years.

My first manga to read was the first volume of "Shaolin Sisters". Then it was "Demon Diary", again first volume. Then didn't get back into wanting to collect until recently with "Devil's Line"

they reprinted gintama, randomly came in stock on right stuf for a lot of the hard to find volumes, definitely see if you can fill it in soon! QOTD: definitely give gangsta a chance. its absolutely underrated, you won't find it in a lot of collections and i'd say it had its peak back in like 2014-2016 and the mangaka still updates the series online when they can ( they suffer from lupus and have had complications from it that prevent them from drawing such as blindness and paralysis). its full of amazing action, lovable characters and has been a long time fave. if you end up liking gangsta, you can try the side series gangsta:cursed which is about another character in the series.

My first Anime/Manga was One piece. Props to my cousin for trying for 3 years to get me to watch the anime. Before I watched it. I thought anime as a whole was kinda weird and just not my thing. But now after watching one piece and several other anime I can say it IS weird, but contains some of the greatest stories I would have never gotten the chance to enjoy had I not gave it shot. By the way, I ended up getting the first 4 one piece box sets and cant wait to collect all my favorite series one day. Awsome vid and collection Boogie👍

QOTD: My favorite one in your collection is Musoku Tensei. I hope u keep up collecting it because it is such an amazing story of character development and world-building, and the story gets even better with time (I have read both Web Novel and Light Novel so I can ensure that). But my favorite manga in there will be Grand Blue; I just love the sense of humor in that. Also, I want to recommend my all-time favorite series, Umineko: When they cry which is a fantasy, mystery, and supernatural manga with a unique detective genre that can't be seen in any manga/LN, and has 8 Episodes (50 vols in total). It may be starting a little slow in the 2 first Episodes but after that, the series goes crazy, and the 2 final Episodes are my most satisfying experience when I read Manga or LN.

I enjoyed seeing your entire collection or Dorohedoro. Was wondering if you had Dai Dark and then saw the 4th volume and you said it was behind Dorohedoro so that's cool. And I really like your Air Gear collection. I collected the first four volumes back in the day after watching the anime. But then never got around to the rest of it. After seeing your video where you received all the volumes made me want to collect it finally and finish it. But then the prices were a little to high for me. lol Then just recently I found all the volumes I was missing, 5 - 37, and they are used for less than $1 each. I live in Japan and used books are almost like brand new. So of course I picked them all up for a little less than $35. Wasn't even looking for it at the time. I caught the title in the corner of my eye and there you go. If I had a suggestion from my collection then maybe Basilisk. It's a good ninja story. Or Genshinken. A manga about otakus. Anyways, thanks for a good video again.
