I made a longer hose on the suction side and basically basically a drop stick, remove the lid and drop it in. This way when I'm done washing, I pull the drop stick out of the tank and drop it in a 5 gallon bucket of fresh water to rinse the pump. It's better and doesn't splash bleach when I pull my trailer.

You could install a fitting and ball valve down there so you can drain the tank if need be.

the very bottom has that little drain. Do you think that is enough?

Thats a good question. I dont believe so as long as you hook it all up correctly

When trying to get a hose like that to lay- if you get it into the position you want and leave it for a few days or better yet a week or so it should get some memory and stay that way. Heat guns can also be useful for bends and such. Thanks for the vid!

You could use a 1 inch small copper pipe, heat up using a torch and make clean hole by forcing the pipe into the tank.

It’s a good starter system but 5/8 hose is too big for this pump. I switched to a 1/2. If not you’ll run through the solution way to fast. Just buy smaller barbs for the pump to switch to a 1/2 hose. I’ve done about 50+ jobs with this system. I make sure to drain it with water after every job.
