You're not losing your mind, Willjum. Something definitely happened to horses. I am playing on a map right now where I gave up on using a horse and only use it for farming fertilizer. I got stuck every two meters or so, and it was everywhere. Desert, snow, forest, highlands.

There has been a glitch with horses that made it possible to loot trough the walls of bases so they changed the hitbox of the horse to prevent this.

the thing i love about your vidoes willjum is it kidna shows another angle of the game rust. how rust dosent have to be an action packed mess of crazyness but it can be something chill and almost heartwarming knowing that the wipe and all the progress will be gone but the memories you made with friends during the wipe is far more important

I use legacy shelters for 2 bags outside my base every wipe now. I keep 2 ladders, a revy, 6 extra bullets and 2 meds. If someone breaks it I lose very little but I can respawn if I'm being raided or if I die right outside and try to recover my body.

If anyone is interested in floor stacking, you do not need the second box (unless there was a recent patch, it is a very old technique). Just push the lower triangle all the way into the higher one. There can not be even the slightest gap between the walls. Also check if you can place the floors above each other. Practice your base build and be very aware of the limitations of replacing doors and walls after a raid or when building in a wrongly timed manner. Most walls and doors can be placed from the bottom floor looking up ward if I recall correctly but that may have gotten patched. I suggest checking out the now inactive legend "evil wurst" for someone awesome old school bases.

The reason why they change the hitbox on a horse is because you used to be able to collect to somebody's base oral horse and steal their loot. So, they made the hitbox bigger

willjum. done a lot of bases with this starter. You dont need the second box just the first one high up on the ramp. You come down and then you deploy the foundy as soon as blue and as close as possible generally. Ive never had a problem with it. great vid tho!! :)

When you were making the starter yesterday I realized something that might be a game changer so yk how you made the gap on accident I was thinking you put a tc on a triangle foundation where its accessible from the gap and surround it with hqm and then cover the pixel with a bear rug or a regular rug. I think that way no one will find your tc and will have to raid the hqm to get the base. Then maybe u can pair that with a pixel gap under the base to store your best loot. It might only work for one wipe if you make a video on it but I personally think it’s a clever idea

Alright alright, I'm impressed. I've done a lot of floor stacked bases and bunkers, but I've never seen a working floorstacked bunker like that. that's really cool. I have a feeling it's a little too cool though and some stability or clipping changes may come to nerf it away, but man, while it lasts I've got to try it out!
