I think using custom content is a way to be more and more creative and experimental. I get that not everyone can download but as a viewer, i get tired of seeing everyone using the same items in the game. It has come to a point that i see every build done with only in game items as the same lol I love cc because it shows more of the simmer's personality. And it's fun! I would understand not using cc the first year of the game being released but after how many years...(?) it's tiring lol

I'd love to see you redo this challenge but all 4 studios have the same layout (as you find most of the time in real life - an apartment block usually has identical apartments) but then you get to customise the decor and style and furniture layout etc !

i was so excited when i spotted some of my cc on the thumbnail!!! 😍 such a cute video idea! my favourite is definitely the 3rd room with lots of greens and an open floorplan but still nice separation of the areas 😊 now i really want to try and do this challenge... :) i'm so happy you like my version of the eames chair and got lot's of use out of the kitchen tiles in many different swatches 🤗 it was very exciting to see some of my objects mixed with ones from the game and from these amazing other cc creators. 💛

Deli, I absolutely loved this challenge idea! I'm definitely am going to try it out myself. My favorite apartment was the green one. I find the earthy tones very soothing. I also really liked how you structured the mezzanine apartment, especially the staircase. As for the bath, I can for sure imagine the type of creative, whimsical sim who might have one! Please, do more builds like this! I love the energy you've put into this video. 💕

This really reminds me of those little 1/24 scale room or house kits you can buy and assemble, there's loads of videos about them here on YT. They aren't always "livable" (some are missing certain bathroom or kitchen features, a lot try to put stairs where there isn't enough space for stairs) but they're very cute and they almost always have lots and lots of houseplants. And a lot of them have grand pianos for some reason. The best part is that some of the lights really light up because the kit comes with LEDs!

my first apartment ever was a studio and it had the bathtub in the living space, it was my absolute favorite thing about it. it was super cute and be able to decorate around it as a "bathroom" helped separate all the areas!

Having had an apartment with a big window like that behind the stove, sink, and what little counter space I had, YES, they get incredibly dirty IRL. If you add cleaning it with your normal regular counter wipe downs (I do it every night), you usually don't have to worry too much. If it opens, it's really nice for clearing out smoke when you overcook a frozen pizza, not like I'd know what that was like or anything.

I like bits and pieces of all four! Would kill to have a bedroom under a huge window, (blue) the clutter and space to clutter, (pink) the layout is sheer perfection and I love galley kitchens, (green) and the study nook and unique bathroom (purple). I love the style of the enclosed toilet and shower but with the external sink (can't remember which color has this), and the bedroom area (pink) utilizes the space so well! It's a conglomeration of beautiful cc and creativity. Much love!

I love using the same cc pack for bathrooms and kitchens and wallpapers/flooring within a neighborhood/apartment complex because realistically that’s how it is in real newly built neighborhoods and complexes! I feel like it makes things feel more realistic! Obviously each person has their own style but not everyone can afford to renovate their house and apartment renters don’t even have that option so I find it’s a nice little challenge in the game.

Green is my favourite one cause it's green which is my favourite colour and overall I think it was the cutest looking but I really like the loft in the purple one and the big window in the blue one I think you should do a build where you incorporate the big windows, have a nice loft area, maybe do like an indoor/outdoor conservatory kind of thing I think it would look great

Can confirm, window as backsplash gets dirty. But it's just as easy to clean as any other backsplash. The blind I usually have over said window is even easier to clean tbh!

This gave me an idea for another challenge. Throw a bunch of furniture out and you have to build a house with those items, you cannot go back in buy mode for more furniture once you go to build lol that's sounds fun
