The reason your pipe transfer rate was slow is because it can only transfer (educated guess) 34ish of single item stack at a time. If you split 1k metal frags out of one stack and into several 34 stacks it would do all of it instantly! :)

He's a pretty selfish player overall. Interrupts raids to do loot sweeps, even in the middle of blowing doors forcing everyone to stop until he's satisfied. Almost refuses to farm (and when he does he's really slow at it), gets distracted constantly by picking fights or trying to load up on loot when his inventory is full (just to do it again 5 minutes later without a depot first), stuffing his inventory with meds because he wants to roam for 3 hours while telling everyone else to farm X or build Y, etc. The more I watch him, the less I enjoy it. /shrug
