Unusual project: a fully automated potion farm. I'm not sure how off-hand you can make it (might need a way to spawn witches for some of the ingredients), but a building with several tanks all filled with various potions would be a fun addition to the town.

You should make a building to just make bookshelves, like a super random thing just for that. It would be useful if you were a bookshelf maker, but basically it would be there just for fun.

If you use powdered snow and carpets on top instead of the hay bales, you don’t take any damage from falling and don’t sink into the snow. 12:57

Since you asked about bulk seething, I used it a bunch in my world! I used a blaze burner and blaze cakes instead of a sail (and likewise used powdered snow for freezing and sand for sanding, etc), and I use it for doubling ores and turning calcite into lapis lazuli. Sanding is also the most useful thing in the world for _automating sanding rose quartz!_ Also, using empty blaze burners with flint and steel and optionally soul sand for smoking and haunting, and using leaves or roots for washing, you can have a one-block contained answer to any bulk fan setup except for blasting, which does need the sail to be one block.

I saw you use a stripped log to filter on the saw. I did the same thing for a while, then realized I could just program a filter for all the various stripped wood types instead so it automatically filters on those instead of having to continually replace the filter block.

I agree with the crafting part, and a good mod for fixing that is either the crafting-station or Tom's Storage (If you want to keep it "vanilla"). Schysst starter bas XD

I will say the haybales are a clever idea, but I know powdered snow with carpet over it negates fall damage all together. It'd be worth testing with the panels as well. I've also seen a clean method of water elevator done with the water stream hidden behind honey blocks and you can ride the stream still because you can pass through the honey/slime blocks partially

You can do powdered snow instead of haybales under the copy cat blocks to completely negate fall damage. I’m not sure if it will work with the copycat blocks though, as it’s normally done with carpet on the powdered snow.

No stam, belts are NOT more laggy than vanilla item transporters. In fact, I am pretty sure noone has ever tested belts whether they are actually laggy. Foxy did try to, but putting an entire chunk worth of bugged belts that you can only get through commands isnt going to help finding out their performance when they are functional

Belts are one of the bigger lag contributors especially in small areas which this base is. A belt is constantly spinning creating lag. Water streams will only disrupt whenever items are being sorted.

@@Stam1o While belts are constantly spinning, so are shafts, and noone cares. I am pretty sure mechanical pumps cause a lot more lag than belts for example

Other components cause more lag for sure but I can't remove shafts if I want a base that has power... I can remove belts quite easily.

Belts do indeed cause more tps/fps lag than you can imagine it's been tested by a few people before,(also by me, for a server that i own with a few friends). [Belts/Big cogs/Smart Chute's/Smart observers/steam engines(block, not multiblock) are the ones that break tps the most)

Seething does a percent chance to give you more from smelting ores. Like base Dreams & Desires it has a 30% chance to give you a second netherite scrap from one ancient debris

Stam1o build a from another base it looks like you have Create: Enchantment industry so you should put all your experience in a tank.

There was a XP storage included in the design at the start but decided to designate an entire building to experience and enchanting in the future.

seething is used for basic ore doubling, I think its a 25% default chance, when u smelt a crushed ore

I always have trouble playing mods or games like this (some i can list are Factorio, Satisfactory, GregTech New Horizons) and I think that's because I just cannot set goals for myself. How do you set goals for yourself? do you ever have trouble setting these goals? If you do how do you persevere? A Goal I set for myself is usually just "beat the game/modpack" but what I think is my problem is I have trouble setting goals inbetween the start and the end.

Water elevators are cool right, but you literally have create, and create elevators are infinitely less clunky than water elevators
