I Built This DIY Table From Scratch

Hi Friends! Today I'm going to be making a DIY plaster table from scratch!! This DIY table has open wooden shelves and the finish really looks just like plaster but is actually made out of other secret materials :). I'm going to be using this table as a DIY outdoor kitchen area for my table top BBQ. This diy outdoor furniture piece was inspired by villas I've seen photos of in Greece and Bali! You could call it a faux cement table or a faux plaster table. Either way - hope you love it as much as I do!!!

Looks so gorgeous! Tip: My husband and I take our circular saw and saw horses to home depot and rip the big plywood sheets into smaller pieces in the parking lot. It's a little inconvenient, but so much cheaper. The saw at our home depot is almost always out of order.

@@tharbin6502 it's cordless. The cheapest cost $40 at HD and basically pays for itself if you cut a big sheet of plywood instead of bying 4 smaller sheets

I bring my saw, a pencil and measuring tape when I plan to buy wood at HD! I've only ever had to use it all once but it makes it all so much less stressful to know I have it.

Dalia, it's the little tips and details I really pay attention to. Clamping those boards down to keep your wood in place for your Kreg jig is GENIUS!!!! Definitely, something I will use in the future, thank you! Dalia the next time that happens in Home Depot ask for a manager and they can usually give you a discount.

Love this! So smart! Just wanted to let you know, in case you weren’t aware, but if you’re worried about fumes while using solvents, paints, stains, or caulking, but N95 masks offer no protection from exposure to any chemical odors, gases or vapors. They filter out fine particulate matter but not vapors. For saw dust and things like that they’re good but not fumes ❤️

Thanks so much Rena!! For part of this video I was wearing a KN95 mask and then when I took it off I was like hmmm my throat does not feel good. Then I googled it and saw the same as what you said and felt super stupid for exposing myself even though I have the proper mask in my closet 🥹. I need to up my knowledge in these things!!
