You can mix your own wood-filler with some glue and abrasive dust. This way you perfectly match the color.

Genius! Dunno why I never thought of that.

Take the sawdust and mix it with wood glue until it forms a paste. It makes a perfect wood filler that is nearly invisible.

One word : Inspiring, keep up the good work. I like how you start from a crazy creative idea to a full concept. Also, to create something like that you must be a perfectionist, but the way how you deal with it, I feel like you always create something even if it's not perfect and then continue on improving it, good luck.

Just found your videos, great stuff! My idea for the monitor mounts would be to just cover the indents with a printed part that hides the screws and make the back side flat.
@gamersruin2 ай бұрын
I'm really liking this idea. Maybe a rack-mounted pc in the corner, mobile standing micro-desk for human interface devices, and a TV on the wall would be a pretty cool work from home / gaming set up for small spaces.

Very cool. I plan on building my own custom "all in one" desk.. I do a variety of things (gaming, coding, music, editing, etc). When I get to it, it will be a top that I will attach to sit/stand legs. I plan to put 2 computers inside with multiple fans, water cooling (ideally), Plexiglas hinge tops to access computers if need be, all wires inside with channel down either side. Built in USB ports, HDMI/DP ports, charge pad. Will have a tray to slide out for 61 key keyboard and second tray for keyboard/mouse. If I can build it correctly, will have wheels on side so can remove from sit/stand and stand it vertically to easily roll/move it through door ways, etc. Been a dream of mine for years.. gearing up to build it soon.

I love this. I wonder if I can make a suggestion. Would it be possible to make something like this where everything is integreted into the desk including a 5K iMac. So, flat survace would be like what you have, but hutch portion would have the imac inside.
