I've been wondering who the second Dream is - my presumption is another content creator is impersonating Dream, while the real Dream is chained up. Who else loves Karl though? Who knows enough about what Mr Beast is doing to be able to assassinate him? Who likes to play a villain? My theory is the mastermind is in fact Ludwig, the man who told Karl "I love you" despite being reluctant to say it to his own roommates, and whose inner drama kid capitalises on any opportunity for a heel turn.

Perhaps this is simply a model update, and the murderous Dream is an evil clone of real Dream, but it could possibly hint they're supposed to be completely different people.
