I so enjoyed watching you on the little tractor, that looked like such fun lol. That must have taken quite a few hours for you and Mile to go through those crates, but fun as well. The thing I liked most was the old crock, I always wanted one but could never afford those I found, though where I could put it would have been a problem in this cottage lol. Folks, be very careful with the thought that you are going to get storage units for cheap and find a lot of valuable stuff to sell for a large profit. ... I had a friend buy into this and he discovered its a huge gamble and a lot of work. 1. Most people realize they cant pay and remove what is actually valuable. 2. Your items are only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay. Sure, it might be worth 1k, but expect offers of 300-400 and that could be months after you win the bid. If you take it to a pawn shop, you might get 25% of its value. 3. Renting a store in a decent area is expensive! 4. Your home will look like a hoard. 5. You will spend hours sorting through pure junk that will include a lot of smelly and disgusting stuff. 6. Many times these auctions have people there with no intentions of buying. They just jack up the bid to make more money for the auctioneer and get you spending more. 7. The cost of gas and trailer to transport this stuff is high! After six months, he quit. We made a calculation and he could of made more money delivering pizza than selling storage unit stuff..... Again, I am not saying it can't be done. But you better be absolutely committed to long days and weeks where you lose money.

Yep. Great insight. It's kinda sad that the original owners were unable to finance their monthly storage. It's a gamble unless you have a viable means to sell the stuff.

That pedal car tractor 🚜 is worth a lotta money…I’ve seen a couple of them at flea markets that have been sold for a couple hundred bucks so I’m sure you can get a lot more especially since it’s in beautiful condition

The lace umbrella is actually a parasol. Was very popular in the Edwardian era so could be something quite old which is awesome. Eta: also quite popular in the victorian era as well.
