i've been out for a few years only doing an odd race here and there due to lack of time and hardware issues which are still ongoing (i need new equipment). However when raced for a few times I saw that a lot had changed and that initially my pace dropped significantly and it took me some time to get back up to speed. Oddly I was initially faster GT3 than in the MX5 but as I was getting back up to speed the order got re-established

Oh, I hope you can sort that out and yeah, iRacing became quite CPU heavy in the past two years. It was the opposite for me. I tried the GT3s as well, but they feel really soapy and the ffb doesn't feel that great around the limit. It took me quite a while to get used to them.
