I can finally watch Horror movies

I'm not a huge horror movie person either, and I can't watch movies that involve torture or animal or child cruelty. I remember having trouble falling asleep for a long time as a kid when a classmate played the DVD of a horror movie called The Descent during his birthday party. It's a movie about a group of female friends that go caving in an unexplored cave in the USA, they get stuck in the cave and find out they are not alone down there. The creatures in the movie are kind of interesting but also nightmarish, they are supposed to be humans that evolved into underground cave creatures , blind albinos with big bat ears they use to navigate. Yikes!

The Stepfather 1987- The reason why I like this movie and think its good is because the plot starts right away, it does kind of get boring throughout the movie but I think it starts to get more interesting towards the end and it also has 2 sequels and then a reboot that came out in 2009.
