Thanks for this video. I following your channel from Brazil (South). Sorry that someone forbidden you to film. Perhaps they are following rules of safety, I hope so and not that is some idiossincratic action from one person. Be safe....."dont' give up cause you have friends"...

"CoolLifeIsWonderful, your video raises an important discussion about the right to film in certain areas, particularly public vs. private spaces. While individuals generally have the right to film in public spaces, there may be restrictions in private areas such as the loading area of a logging company. It's unfortunate that you encountered difficulties in exercising your right to film, and it's a reminder of the complexities surrounding our constitutional rights, especially in today's digital age. Thank you for sharing your experience and sparking thought-provoking conversations. Keep up the great work! 🎥🤔

I am sad to hear you can't film in the loading area, I am sure safety is the issue. Please stay safe. I come from a family of mountain people logging is our way of life. I lost my father to log falling off the truck when securing the load. I saw the whole thing happen. Thank you for the videos. I spend my morning before work watching utube.

Did you end up switching blocks? I noticed he ended up getting a sample load at warehouser. It’s always fun to get a sample because you don’t have to weigh out at the end. Years ago when I was with my dad, I used a GoPro chest mount to film my old videos. It was so cool, especially with the log stamping.

@Dieseldrew66This Loaderman is so hateful and selfish. Why is the other loaderman generous and understanding?and you are just bitter in your life! When it comes to safety the camera person already knows how to act and God she is far away from you and the slowness of the loader is running so that she can get awag from harm and the one you are working on is kn the last trailer and she is away infront of the truck.Don't be so strict it's ok if you are concerned about safety she is mature enough to handle the situation.Your true behaviour comes out in reality!

Thanks for the videos!! Its a shame you have to stop filming in the loading areas... Im Canadian and its been cool to see how things operate on the West Coast. Seems hit and miss with some companies. An oilfield trucker I watch in Alberta has dealt with similar being told to not film on certain sites/companies. Hopefully they lighten up soon for you :) Cheers from Ontario.

get a drone! much safer, Loaderman is probably just trying to ensure everyones safety. Things can go wrong in a hurry near the log decks. You should be inside the truck while he's loading.

Hi there, thank you for watching! As for the loader,he doesn’t want to be videotaped and he doesn’t want anyone to videotape his area. The loader man and the driver have communication on the radio. The driver of the truck will only get off when the loader man agrees and he knows how far the driver is.

Technically, you've probably not "filmed" since 1995. They didn't ban recording on digital media if it specifically says "no filming". Seriously though, the reasoning is exactly what happened in the video titled "Realistic Day In The Life Of A 54 Year Old Log Truck Driver Stuck In The Snowy Mountains|Log Truck" at 42:53. A person walking on the side of the trailer opposite the loader, cannot be seen by the loader, slips and falls, could get a log dropped on them. The recorder's point of view, in the video titled "Realistic Day In The Life Of A 54 Year Old Log Truck Driver Stuck In The Snowy Mountains|Log Truck" at 40:28, standing on slippery surface next to the moving truck was a risk not worth taking, and then at 41:30, the loader does not know anyone is moving to the rear of the truck at all, and it turns out 2 were (double the risk). What I question is; is there a policy that says nobody is to be in the cab during loading? If there is, I'd say the reasoning is so that if the truck flips nobody is at risk of being stuck in the cab while the truck slides down the hill. But, if there is that policy, then people from the truck need to be a minimum 30 feet from the truck for the loader to be active. This should mean that the truck driver has communication with the loader, so the loader knows to be watching for # of people at the front of the truck to be able to commence loading. If there isn't such a policy, then it's a "Driver and truck occupants exist here at their own risk" and the company shouldn't be able to ban recording. Though it would be wise for anybody outside the vehicles to remain far enough away from the truck so that they reduce the risk of being hit by anything.

Hi there, thank you for watching!the no filming is for the camera woman.when it come’s to the driver’s safety, they have a comminucation thru radio that the driver is down or will go down and the loader man will work only in the other trailer. The driver just got off the truck after he told the loader man and the loader man agreed. The two have communication. In the video you can’t see the distance ,but in actuality there is enough distance specially the camera person using zoom in lenses.

@@CoolLifeIsWonderful Fantastic insights, thank you. It is a bummer of no more recording, she got amazing clips. Though, I would suggest an Insta360 secured to the mirror mount to grab those shots in future.

I would drive to the managers office and ask them if you can safely video from the truck. And show a video, AND especially dont tell the management you had altercation with the loader operator. Get a yes from management and if the loader operator says "hey", then you say Jim in the office give me permission to safely video from my truck. No difference me being at my truck with without a phone to record. The loader operator is just getting you to be a mirror for his Karen narcissism.
