Start with Tom Cruise and you can count on one hand the number of actors that actually do their own stunts throughout a project (and not just one gag for one scene so they could claim they "did a stunt"). And even if they would do it for a feature film, literally no one puts in that kind of work for a music video. Taylor was very special for what he did here. I'm not saying he's the greatest actor of all time, just that the level of stunt work he pulled off here, with such slick ease, is super rare and cool to see from an actor and not a full-time stunt performer or stage fighter.
