I volunteered at a RSPCA shelter as a teenager. Allot of it was heart breaking, I dont think I could do it now. We got so many, whole litters of puppies in, some times pregnant mothers who actually gave birth to the pups when we were there. I could be a puppy midwife, I have been involved in so many births. The best fun I have ever experienced is laying down on the ground and let a whole litter of about 6-12 week old puppies rumble you. It was so much fun for the pups and the people.

Puppies just suck you in. I'm waiting delivery of a mini schnauzer. 6 weeks to go. circumstances dont permit us getting a rescue. Mores the pity. But we got a wonderful surprise when we heard of this litter sired by our late schnauzer Maises brother making her Maisies neice. We're calling her Hetty her dad's Harley and mums Betty.
