I haven’t seen anybody commented on the meaning of Fire, so here’s my take on it: Fire may seem like just a fun dance song, but it actually has a deep meaning (as with almost all of BTS’ songs). Asian kids (just like the old stereotypical impression we have here in the US) are expected to work very hard in their studies. Their parents/families often pressure them to study hard. Some even give preference to the ones who does best in school. In certain Asian countries, kids as young as 12 years olds have been known to have mental breakdowns or see psychiatrists for depression caused by stress over their school performance. This is unfortunately very real in countries like South Korea, China, Taiwan and Singapore (to name a few). The competition to be the best in school and get into good colleges are very, very stiff, and encouraged. If you look at the Fire lyrics, BTS is saying, don’t be afraid to take it easy. You are young, youth is precious. Burn your worries and stress away, it’s ok. The last verse by Suga says: I’ll forgive you.

Why didn’t you guys watch it with the subs? 🤯 Their lyrics are just as important as their music and choreography, all of them combine beautifully to create a work of pure art. This song conveys a message about the freedom you get and SHOULD get as a youth. Bangtan has always been fighting for the youth and this song is part of the bigger picture they want to create. Yup, the choreo is dope!! Speaking of Dope, the song that was playing at the very beginning is one of their songs, called Dope. You should totally react to its MV, and to its dance practice as well. The members themselves have said that it was a unique choreo, something they had never tried before. Thanks! 💜

imo Fire's lyrics aren't nearly as deep as other BTS songs. additionally, there's nothing wrong with watching a video for the first time without subs. I always watch first without subs, then a second time with them. it's way too much to take in everything at first while trying to read lyrics.

Interesting fact about Fire. Keone Madrid from The Kinjaz choreographed that dance for BTS 💜😊 I’m glad u guys loved it. He also choreographed Blood, Sweat, and Tears and Dope. BTS is the best so of course they only work with people that help to keep them that way. 😁

Thanks for the awesome reaction! I'm a 62 year old ARMY/fan and I love watching reactions by people who are just as impressed as I am!! What I can't grasp is .... this is only ONE version of the dance routine, in the video....it changes....in performances and concerts, again, it can need to be changed....and this is only ONE song....its that way on ALL their songs!! I know I'm old, but I don't ever remember a time when I would have been able to remember all those different moves for all those different versions of all the different songs....AND....sing at the same time. They don't lip sync. How do they do it? AND....like most successful Kpop artists, they also sing in several different languages!! I'm so impressed with the talent of these young men!! Fun fact about BTS music video’s there is no green screen, everything we see is happening right there at that moment.. They work so so hard to make the mv perfect for us to enjoy.. I have to say thanks for the fact that you watch the mv and the dance practice 💜💜 I love seeing people react to their dance.. Will you do a reaction to a live performance anytime soon? They have had the same main choreographer since the beginning. He has won awards for his choreo. His name is Sun SungDeuk who brings a variety of other choreographers in to collab. Jhope contributes as well. The live performances are amazing though. Once you get through the mvs and dance practices you should react to live award show performances from MAMA and MMAS. (Korea has hella kpop award shows).

hey don’t laugh and plus the guy is wearing a fireproof suit (which has a switch on the inside of one of the sleeves) so even though he’s extremely sweating under it he’s protected, everything except for the toy plane is REAL even the fire!

I’m no dance expert but I just wanted to say about the part you guys rewinded so many times to, the part where Adam would like to try to do, I once saw a reaction video from a dancer and he told us that it’s actually really hard to move your upper body and lower body at the same time, but to not the same moves (compare to the upper and lower body). Anyways, my point is, you could really tell how much our boys practice to get to this perfection.
