And yeah I had a similar experience at both the regionals I bowled at three or so years ago. First one, I was in the cut pretty much all day. Was a REALLY tough pattern (Cheetah...the "new" Cheetah which is way less scorable than it used to be) at a house where pretty much every pair played different. AND it was non-champions. Last three games I averaged 150. And just like that I'm in the lower third of the field lol. Second one had a whole bunch of former champions. The great Walter Ray himself included. I was actually AHEAD of HIM through three. But I stayed at my 185 average pace while he shot I think 800 for the last three (it was a one day event so six games instead of eight). Missed cashing by about 60 pins.

Yes I agree. Sometimes it’s a lot easier to see what’s happening on the lanes from a 3rd person view. After I watched it back, I realized that I should’ve added some loft the last couple games. We live and learn…

Just grind it out dude! .. you have such a fantastic form, one which I am trying to emulate (tough work for me, for sure, but I'm trying). You and Mr. 220 are awesome . just keep grinding guys, you are doing fantastic! .. you are going to have setbacks, but that's where you become stronger. It's like lifting weights, there's pain involved in order to get stronger. And just think, it's going to be tough to score another game as low as 129 .. so you got THAT out of the way .. 🙂

Every try adding just a tiny bit of loft? You lay the ball down so smooth and early and when it reads too early and keeps going through the nose sometimes it helps me get the ball a tiny bit further right and gives it time to come back. Sometimes a ball change and just moving left isn’t enough.

Dude, I don't know what frame it was in, but that seven pin you left- nitroglycerin couldn't have blown that 1-3 pocket up more than what you did with that ball. I believe there was a ball boy hidden in the back who had a nailgun, secretly nailing your pins to the deck. You had some other suspicious leaves that game. I call foul. Uh, oh. I've created another conspiracy theory, havent't I, man? The demon that harrassed and haunted me all the years I bowled was the ten pin. I've noticed Brittany leaves her fair share of 10 pins, too. I had the one opportunity for my only 800 series robbed from me by that damn pin. You wouldn't think that a 796 series would piss me off, but that one, even after 40 years, still stings.

Sheeesh .. stop it !!! .. you are going to steal my nick name "Mr. 10 Pin" ... I HATE THE 10 PIN !!! ... I have been leaving so many 10 pins lately, it is ridiculous. I keep trying to make adjustment but man, either leave 10's, 7's or splits. The other night I think I had five 7-10's in the course of just 2 games. Incredible. Apparently I am in the running for a free t-sheet at my lanes because of it. Apparently they have created a category that if you get 5 or more 7-10's in an evening, you can get a free t-shirt, not sure what it says yet, but I need to go pick it up.

The tall guy in the video had to have been well over 6’5. I know you’re bitterly disappointed at how you bowled but as hard as it is take positives out of it, I can think of two for a start 1. you nailed the 4-10 a very difficult split to convert & 2. You didn’t give up so well done you. I’m an ex league bowler I bowled some absolute stinkers when I bowled. So go home, put this experience to bed & forget about it because we who watch your channel know what you’re capable of. So from me in the UK, keep the faith, dust yourself down & we go again in the next one. #TeamForrest

If you pushed the ball it wouldnt come back... if you went inside... it wouldn't hold... Moving right and opening your wrist angle a bit... and trying to push the ball up lane doesn't work... and physically you start to lose the zip you had from games 1-4... I think you got in your own head those last 2 games... your shot was great until the burn occurred. Once that happens your natural feeling is to go left more... but in fact you should ball change and move right... and open the wrist angle up and play up and in. You stayed with the left too long... and ran out of oil to hold anything on the correct trajectory.
