Hey Guys! Join me on an adrenaline-fueled adventure through the wild heart of Australia! In this video, we delve deep into the rugged landscapes of New South Wales in search of some of the most elusive and venomous creatures in the Land Down Under!!Our mission? To track down the notorious red-bellied black snake, tiger snake, and the formidable eastern brown snake. Armed with knowledge and caution, we explore diverse habitats, from sun-drenched coastal cliffs to lush rainforests. Brace yourself for heart-pounding encounters as we get up close and personal with these reptiles. But that’s not all! Along the way, we stumble upon unexpected treasures. Behold the short-beaked echidna, a spiky marvel of monotreme evolution. And don’t miss the black rock skink and the mesmerizing blotched blue-tongued skink-two reptilian wonders that call this ancient land home. Our five-day expedition reveals the intricate tapestry of Australian biodiversity. From hidden crevices to sun-soaked clearings, we document the delicate balance between predator and prey, survival and adaptation. Join us as we celebrate the resilience of these remarkable creatures and the untamed beauty of their habitat.

we grew to love our red bellied black snakes in central victoria, they eat young brown snakes and are so laid back with people and dogs. After 10 years we have far less browns.

That bird call you couldn't identify was an eastern whipbird. Nice video. I left Australia for Japan 5 years ago, and hearing the sounds of the birds and you interacting with the wildlife was nostalgic for me. You're really enjoying my homeland and I'm glad for it! Have fun.

My stomping grounds from childhood, there is nothing like being in the Bush in Australia, so many species of birds and reptiles. I only ever caught one Diamond Python, but I was young. I would not trade that time for anything.

For most people in Eastern Aus, Red Bellied Black Snakes are fairly common near water. They're super pretty, and generally pretty chill. But yes, Eastern Brown's are the number one snake everyone fears. Up far north, the Coastal Taipan strikes fear, and out in the desert regions and WA, the Western Brown and the Dugite are much more of a problem (both brown snake species). Funnily enough, horses kill more people than snakes in Australia every year. Overwhelmingly horses cause more deaths than any other animal in Aus. By the way, you should be aware that most people here don't like people handling wildlife. Picking up the echidna is a big no no and will put you offside with a lot of Australians. Look and appreciate, but don't touch.

Im absolutely fascinated by snakes was so stoked to hold a Black Headed python on a trip to oz a few years ago, but give me the bush walks of NZ anyday where we dont have to worry about anything venomous or becoming some wild animals lunch... Interested to see what Island of NZ you are going to..

That black headed python must of been insane! Im totally the opposite New Zealand was very interesting (video coming soon) but it was so hard for me walking through what felt like “snakey” habitat or driving some “snakey” backroads and having to tell myself to stop looking for snakes cause there just arent any!

My dad found a eastern brown snake on our 2.5 acres when he was wiper sniping and nearly stepped on it it was dead but i think it is because my dad hit it by accident and there is a big python snake that we've seen 2 or three times or more but my closest encounter with a snake was with that snake when i was in the garden weeding and my hand was a couple centimetres to it and it was in attack position but it is probably hiding in the shed i am living in. And this year one of our cousins who livs on the same property as us there dog got bitten by red belly black, tiger snake or inland taipan it was one of the three the other day my dad was going somewhere on the property and saw a black snake out side my cousins house and couldn't identify it so i still chek for snake's were ever i go.

Hey Christian thanks for the comment! Sounds like I should of came and visited your property if I wanted to see some of the snakes in Australia! Definitely the best thing you can do is always be cautious and check for snakes where ever you go, which it sounds like you are already doing, thats awesome! Remember as scary as snakes and seem sometimes they never want to hurt you and only bite when they feel threatened or scared! Thanks for the comment!

Audley in the RNP is a pretty good spot to find Diamonds but your best off searching at night, far better chance at turning one up in my experience. In saying that I have seen a couple coiled beside the Port Hacking River right where you were but it's just luck really. Happy herping 🤙

Are you on the central coast in this video? It's funny, I regularly have people tell me an area is full of eastern browns and majority of time it's been misidentified and is either a marsh snake or whip snake. I have came across about 5 eastern Brown snakes out hiking and every single one of them was chilled, they behaved exactly like every other snake I've came across. Give them space and respect them, they'll want nothing to do with you and even let you take some cool pics👍

awesome vid mate, but please don't pick up any of our mammals and monotremes as they have very delicate systems and pick them up incorrectly ca cause damage, but they can also suffer from capture myopathy which is basically when your scare the animal to death. Im glad you had a great time in aus and im not trying to hate but just trying to inform you about our native wildlife ✌

Not really, im an avid member of the reptile hobby and my channel is catered to a mixture of herpers and hobbyists in addition to the fact that most of my youtube time is spent watching people with incredible collections like GS reptiles, Dav Kaufman, Kamp Kenan, BHB reptiles etc. You might want to watch the video again because it wasnt the first thing I mentioned (I talked about how theres a photo of these at this particular NP I was visiting and how I called in the first video we would see one in the wild) regardless of me mentioning the reptile trade it doesn’t take away from the fact that I was stoked to see one in the wild on my 2nd to last day in Aus!
