Full VB Air fitted a few years ago on a 2018 Carthago i150. Transforms the handling of the motorhome particularly negotiating roundabouts, in cross winds, and overtaking lorries on the motorway. Rutted roads are still rough so don't expect miracles. Riding on air is a misleading statement and I prefer to say it is firm and planted. I love the height adjustments available for ferry loading and when crossing uneven field sites. I had previously installed the EP levelers so have no experience with the VB leveling module.

Great video Steve. I have had my two Swift Motorhomes both fitted with VB full air - fantastic for all the reasons you mention in your video. And you will use all the features. I now have a Autosleeper with Mercedes cab. I have had the VB full air fitted on rear only, VB don’t do the front suspension on Mercs. I have also had the E &P levelling legs fitted and as you say ithe VB air talks to the E & P jacks. It costs a fortune but it’s well worth it.

Looking forward to hearing on-the-road experiences with the new system. With your long overhang van, one additional anti-grounding counter meassure might be to install a small industrial cart wheel under the tow bar. Seen one in a large Carthago van and it was quite smart in its simplicity.

We have full VB air suspension on Genny. The plus points are ... the comfortable ride, the ability to tilt the bus to empty the grey water tank. The ability to lower the back to load the bikes into the garage. And did I mention how comfy the ride is?.?.? The only down side is the added weight. But the plus points far out weigh this. (pun intended ) . Highly recommend VB system. It works seamlessly with the E&P self levelling. Brilliant bit of kit.

Had VB full air fitted on our A-class recently and just back from France and Belgium where we tested it on some pretty shocking roads. It works exactly as described, the levelling is a joy and the changes to the ride comfort are game changing. We’ve also increased payload by uprating since.

My van is booked in with SAP in Doncaster to have a full air system installed. I am having the 30mm off-road kit fitted, which gives the van an extra 30mm of ride height before you put it in offroad mode! I have also gone for self-levelling and the emergency valve system. For those that don't know, I have a VW T6 T32 4Motion High roof.

What amazes me is the lack of front air suspension on the market for motorhomes, I have changed the front suspension stops for a system similar to progressive stops, from SOS suspension in France (not air, just longer stops which are flexible). it has lifted the front a little and less roll, But I would love to have brought something similar with are air control, I do have rear air suspension and I'm very happy with it. before the rear air suspension I bottomed out the van about 10 times in a couple of years after that it has never happened again. I paid £600 for the rear and £220 for the front both fitted myself. Air for the rear is added manually via a Tyre valves connection in the passenger foot well.

We love our air suspension, it just makes for a smoother ride. We only have it fitted to the rear but no bangs or clattering and much more stable on the road. Wont be long before you get the jacks lol. great Vlog. What was the cost for there system?

Just realised that you seem to get caught out with your front wheel drive in certain locations. Like your front wheels struggle for grip at certain locations, I was wondering can you fit a caravan mover to the rear tyres just help with traction and to get you out of tight spots? Like stuck in sand, parking in pitches driving in a steep entrance to that campsite in Morocco for example?

Great informative video but Wow! 12k to fix a problem on a brand new van. The way that van sat on the road before the mod was scandalous. The amount of times it ground out and suffered damage proved that it wasn't fit for purpose. I know it was a new model but Swift have some work to do there.

I did mention this at 3:49 in the video. We had the VB Full Air 4 Corner Fully Automatic Air Suspension with self levelling fitted. The cost of this is £12k but I’m not sure how much it is without the self levelling.

I ground out our 2019 Bessacarr 599, the fresh water drain is mid point between the axles so any slight rise in the ground as the drain valve is the lowest point it’s been knocked off twice and very nearly a third time. My solution was to get some correct pipe and a couple of elbows and move it so it’s now beside the waste water tank drain valve. As both valves are nearer the rear wheel they are not affected by any slight undulations in the ground. I did have to extend the wiring for the fresh water electric drain valve, the waste tank drain valve stayed in its original position so that wiring was ok.

All this information was in the video Damien. We had it fitted in November, was away for December, didn’t use the van in January as it was too cold and went away in it in February where we used it for the first time. We are also away in the van right now and are continuing to put it through its paces, which we will be reporting on in our videos so keep an alert on them as they come out

Its the obvious solution and great if you can afford it but you dont mention price. And you don't mention if you got this installed free in return for promoting it . Would be good to let your audience know if your salespeople for the manufactures or genuine you tubers. Its very hard to tell with the UK channels now as they always seem to be tied in with some product or other and keep flogging them like a dead horse (even though they have minuscule channels numbers )
