😊Let me share a thought: Paul, in 2nd Corinthians, he also speaks about being carnally minded and spiritually minded. In the scripture that you just quoted Paul is also hinting at something here that when we are absent from the body, meaning we're not living for the flesh, we are then living for the Spirit. Paul is not trying to say that we are in heaven when we're absent in the body that were with the lord. When people die they die.King David died oh a thousand years B.C., and the Bible says he slept with his fathers. You get down to Acts chapter 2 and Peter's says David's still dead, he's still buried, and he's not yet in Heaven. When we die we don't go directly to heaven. If we did what would the Judgment then look like what would the second coming of Jesus look like? When Jesus comes back and it's going to be allowed event the dead in Christ are going to be raised first and then those who are alive will be taken with him also. And that doesn't sound like people are in heaven already. If we all had a direct line to heaven then no matter what we've done no matter what sins we've committed it means that when we die we go directly to heaven? The Bible is very explicit the dead know nothing they die every person that we know that has died including Moses David even Jesus's mother Mary is still dead in the ground sleeping. Everybody who is dead will awake at the sound of the trumpet. The Bible is super clear about this I just ended up doing a bible study on this it's very plain Bishop Mari thinks he's going to die and be with the Lord then he's following a false Doctrine and he must think he's in pretty good standing to go directly to heaven

It's because he doesn't worry about the details that don't matter. He knows that believing in Jesus Christ and being Christ like bearing his cross, is all that matters for him to get back to God. Scripture is clear. If he died today, he would not go to be with the Lord. He would go sleep in the grave until one of the two resurrections. That's idle worship. I was born and raised to Catholic and I never understood trying to marry and doing all these repetitive prayers and telling my sins to a priest. None of that's in the Bible none of that's in scripture Jesus Christ is our only intercessory for because he died for our sins that's who we go to to convince our sins. Even Jesus told Mary and his own f Brothers this passage in the scriptures" 31 qAnd his mother and his rbrothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him. 32 And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers1 are outside, seeking you.” 33 And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” 34 And slooking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 tFor whoever udoes the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother," Jesus never bow down to his own mother he taught them that it didn't make any difference if they were his flesh and blood the family of God in doing the will of God was what he was preaching. So why does the bishop pray to Mother Mary when it's not biblical? Is that speaking the truth and being wise then? I wonder
